Chapter 1709: Chapter 1703: They Started Fighting
“Silver Wolf, turns out you really ca.” The person who had just spoken was startled upon seeing Silver Wolf’s appearance. None of the three of them had noticed soone was already behind them. If he wanted to kill them, they would likely already be corpses by now.
“That’s right. I’ve been here for quite a while. But seeing how peacefully you were sleeping, I decided to let you enjoy your dreams. I hope you’ve rested well?”
Silver Wolf’s words nearly made the other party spit blood. Peacefully sleeping? Not disturbing their rest? The fact was, he had been watching them all along, simply opting not to make a move. Who knows, maybe the tall guy would jump up in anger after hearing that.
But Silver Wolf had that kind of skill. Even if he were infuriating, they were powerless against him. It wasn’t their fault that their abilities weren’t on par with his. All they could do was glare at him angrily. But who was the woman next to him? They had no idea Silver Wolf ever had a woman by his side.
“Silver Wolf, we just wanted to seek you out, but you kept avoiding us, so we had no choice but to lure you out this way,” said the person who had just greeted him. It was clear that they didn’t an to actually harm Silver Wolf; they just had so matters to resolve.
“Your thods are truly unique. You do realize your actions constitute abduction, don’t you?” Silver Wolf eyed the three n coldly.
“Cut the nonsense and watch how we deal with you.” The man who had spoken earlier perceived Silver Wolf’s words as overly arrogant and wanted to teach him a lesson.
“What? You want to fight? Go ahead.” Silver Wolf glanced at the man glaring at him and another who seed utterly fixated on Qing Zhu. His tone grew colder.
“Take this!” One of the n lunged at Silver Wolf, making the others have no choice but to join the fray.
Qing Zhu noticed one man was rely staring at her without taking any action. This puzzled her—wasn’t he supposed to fight? Why wasn’t he making a move? What was the point of just staring at her?
Silver Wolf, observing how the others had begun fighting while this man remained unresponsive, walked towards Qing Zhu and pulled her aside. Was she interested in this man? She couldn’t seem to take her eyes off him.
“What are you doing?” Qing Zhu looked at Silver Wolf in exasperation. It was him who had caused Yu Ze to wind up with these people. If anything, shouldn’t he be the one taking the bla?
“Stand aside. Don’t you know fists and kicks don’t have eyes? What if you get hurt?” Silver Wolf scolded. He couldn’t explain why he had spoken to Qing Zhu in such a tone; he simply felt irritated inside.
“You must be joking—this whole situation is your fault! Otherwise, Yu Ze wouldn’t have fallen into their hands. And yet, you dare talk to like that?” Qing Zhu swatted his hand away furiously. This infuriating man had caused all the trouble and now had the audacity to act rude. Was there any justice left?
“I didn’t expect them to go this far. Let deal with them first, and then I’ll explain everything.” For now, Silver Wolf couldn’t afford to exchange more words with Qing Zhu and decided to put the matter off until later.
“Fine. I’ll be waiting to hear your explanation afterward,” Qing Zhu replied, standing off to the side as she watched the situation unfold. Since the other man wasn’t making a move, she figured there was no need for her to do so either.
All she had to do was watch, sparing herself the effort. Little did Silver Wolf know that if he understood Qing Zhu’s current thoughts, he might feel insulted. He was fighting hard, yet she was leisurely watching the drama unfold.
anwhile, that man continued to stand there, simply staring at Qing Zhu without moving or assisting his companions. The pair just watched as the three others fought, completely unaffected by the chaos around them.
