Chapter 1711: Chapter 1705: I Haven’t Eaten All Day Either
“I’m coming too.” Qin Xue had always been planning to search for the child, so after hearing Chu Molin’s words, she wasn’t about to pass up the opportunity.
“Alright.” Chu Molin expected Qin Xue would say that, so he wasn’t surprised.
“Yingying, are you guys coming?” Qin Xue glanced at Nangong Beiying, who was standing to the side.
“Yes, we’re coming.” Although Nangong Beiying had been watching the fight, her attention was still focused on Qin Xue and the others.
“Good, then let’s go together. Qing Zhu can stay here; she seed perfectly fine staying put earlier.” Qin Xue looked at Qing Zhu, who was still eating, and then glanced at the man who remained calmly standing to one side.
Qin Xue wasn’t sure why, but when she looked at that man, she lingered for a mont before shaking her head.
“Xuexue, what’s up with you?” Nangong Beiying looked at Qin Xue.
“It’s nothing,” Qin Xue shook her head, then walked side by side with Nangong Beiying, following Chu Molin’s lead.
“Hey, X, you’ve been watching for quite a while now. Isn’t it about ti you told your n to stop? You grabbed the kid just to bait into coming out, didn’t you? Now that I’ve shown up, why are they still coming at ? Let tell you, if you don’t call them off right now, I’m not going to be polite!”
Silver Wolf glared at the man who was standing idly by and enjoying the show. Was he addicted to watching? They’d been fighting for ages, and Silver Wolf had been going easy; now he was fed up and wasn’t in the mood to keep it going.
“Da Fei, stop.” X hadn’t expected Silver Wolf to recognize him. If Silver Wolf recognized him earlier, then why had he still been fighting?
“Boss.” Da Fei stopped fighting after hearing X’s order and walked to his side, addressing him.
“As for you—if you don’t stop, I swear you’ll regret it,” Silver Wolf growled at the man who was still attacking him. What an idiot—didn’t he hear their boss tell them to stop? Why was Cong still fighting?
“You’re just losing and won’t admit it! Now you’re threatening ? Go ahead, show what you’ve got! I’d like to see how scary your threats really are—” The man didn’t finish his sentence before Silver Wolf slamd him to the ground, locking him in a chokehold.
“I said stop! You think I was joking, huh? You leave no choice.” Silver Wolf tightened his hold. Had it not been for Qing Zhu’s engrossed munching earlier, he would’ve ended this sooner. But that heartless woman was too busy enjoying her food, so now he’d decided he wasn’t in the mood to play around any longer.
“Who would’ve thought the fad Silver Wolf would end up like this? Quite the surprise, wouldn’t you say?” X comnted while looking at Qing Zhu, who was devouring her al. She was eating with such gusto, fully unbothered, and it made X unexpectedly intrigued by her. This woman was rather interesting.
“She’s not soone you can touch. Out with it—what was your real purpose in going to such lengths to bring here?” Silver Wolf knew Chu Molin and the others were off rescuing the child, so he was fine taking his sweet ti sparring words with X.
While he spoke, Silver Wolf positioned himself in front of Qing Zhu, blocking X’s appreciative gaze with his broad fra.
“What’s your problem?” Qing Zhu paused her enthusiastic eating as a shadow lood over her. She looked up to find Silver Wolf standing in front of her. Was sothing seriously wrong with him?
“Just focus on your food and quit asking so many questions.” Silver Wolf eyed her like she was a clueless woman, oblivious to the wolf lurking nearby with dangerous intent.
“But you’re blocking . I don’t like eating like this.” Qing Zhu stared at Silver Wolf blankly, annoyed by his intrusion. She wasn’t used to this sort of dining arrangent.
“Then share so of your food with . I haven’t eaten anything since yesterday, and I’m starving,” Silver Wolf shot X a warning glance before lowering his eyes to et Qing Zhu’s.
