Chapter 1773: Chapter 1767: Good Health

“Sis, you look so beautiful today.” Ye Zishu gazed at Qin Xue as she walked into the living room. She looked about the sa as yesterday, but for so reason, Zishu felt that Qin Xue seed a little different—she seed prettier sohow.

“You really do! Sis, how did you manage that? Care to teach us your secret?” Xu Shaoqin chid in, also feeling that there was sothing inexplicably charming about Qin Xue today.

“Pfft—cough cough!” Nangong Beiying was drinking water when Xu Shaoqin’s comnt struck her like Thunder, and she ended up choking on it. She practically coughed herself to death.

“Yingying, are you okay?” Qin Xue was startled; monts ago, she’d been feeling a bit embarrassed, but Nangong Beiying’s interruption completely broke the mont, leaving her feeling nothing at all.

“Xuexue, I’m fine.” Nangong Beiying finally managed to catch her breath and waved it off.

“You really should be more careful. You’re in a delicate situation right now.” Qin Xue gave Nangong Beiying a look that was both concerned and a bit reproachful.

“Oh, so now it’s my fault? Their words were just way too much to handle, okay?” Nangong Beiying wasn’t being careless; who could’ve guessed their comnts would be so jaw-dropping?

Back in the day, Nangong Beiying didn’t understand this kind of thing, but now she did. She gave Qin Xue a knowing look, then turned away.

Qin Xue was clearly showing everyone that she’s super happy. Honestly, if soone like her wasn’t beautiful, then who could claim to be?

And those girls just now, asking Qin Xue for her beauty tips—starting to think about self-care at such a young age. No wonder Beiying got so worked up that she ended up choking.

“Alright, alright, this really isn’t your fault,” Qin Xue finally said, recalling their earlier conversation and falling silent for a mont.

“What are you two talking about—what’s right or wrong?” Guan Xiaojun, completely clueless about what was going on, glanced back and forth between Qin Xue and Nangong Beiying, puzzled.

“Oh, nothing much. We were just discussing how not to ss up the barbecue today. What kinds of things do you guys want to cook?” Qin Xue quickly changed the subject. If the conversation went on much longer, she’d have to start lecturing them about skincare tips, so it was better to steer clear of that topic entirely.

Cai Wenzhao noticed Qin Xue changing the subject. She glanced at Nangong Beiying, then at Qin Xue’s face—thankfully, Xue wasn’t mad. Phew, crisis averted.

Cai Wenzhao didn’t have any skincare experience herself, but she’d seen her mother before. Sotis, her mother would look just like Qin Xue did now—much prettier after taking care of her skin.

“I’m going to the fields to pick so eggplants and cut so chives. Do you guys want to co along?” Qin Jiale’s voice interrupted Cai Wenzhao’s train of thought.

“Sure!” Cai Wenzhao nodded. She wanted to get so fresh air anyway, so heading out seed like a good idea.

Qin Xue watched them leave, then sat down beside Nangong Beiying, grabbing her hand to check her pulse.

“Your health is great, and the baby is doing perfectly fine.” Qin Xue announced the results of her pulse examination.

“My health has always been great, and of course the baby’s fine.” Nangong Beiying wasn’t new to this—she often checked her own pulse and was very aware of her body’s condition.

“What do you feel like eating later? I’ll make it for you.” Qin Xue stood up, deciding not to continue their earlier conversation.

“Anything’s fine. Your husband and your younger brother went up the mountain to hunt. Wonder if they’ll co back with anything?” Nangong Beiying said, casually informing Qin Xue about her man’s whereabouts lest she kept sneaking glances here and there trying to figure it out.

This girl has changed so much since she got married. Before, she didn’t care about anything—she was completely absorbed in her dical studies, spending all her free ti researching surgical techniques. But now, she seems so much more human.
