"Hehe, let it be discovered then, that’s just how my explosive temper is," Qin Xue laughed.
"You two really are true sisters," Qing Sheng looked at the two people whose relationship was as close as real sisters. Many actual sisters don’t have their kind of bond, let alone the fact that they are only cousins.
"Yep, sisters with one heart, pranking people," Qin Xue responded to Qing Zhu’s remark.
"Be careful not to get pranked yourself," Nangong Beiying looked at Qin Xue, throwing so cold water on her excitent.
"Do you think that’s possible?" Qin Xue wouldn’t be Qin Xue if she were that easy to prank.
"Alright, as long as you don’t prank others, that’s good enough," Nangong Beiying actually didn’t dare say much.
Recalling their ti at school, they were in the sa class, but in college, they ended up in different majors because of different elective courses.
Qin Xue back then dealt with so boys who liked to bully girl classmates by figuring out what they were afraid of and then using those things to prank them. Interestingly, the things those boys feared were quite common.
One of them was actually afraid of snakes; they found out about his fear of snakes quite by chance.
It was a sumr day during their P.E. class, and after the teacher arranged the lesson content, they were allowed to have ten minutes of free activity, so the three of them went under a tree to cool off.
As luck would have it, there was a patch of grass not too far away, and that boy might have been hiding there to relieve himself, but he ended up seeing a piece of grass rope and almost wet his pants in fright.
He was completely unaware that his awkward mont was seen by the three girls in its entirety; initially, they felt quite embarrassed, but his expression ended up amusing them.
Later, when they saw that the boy hadn’t noticed them, they quickly hid behind the tree. They were laughing so hard until their stomachs hurt after he left, surprised that a boy who usually bullies others could be so scared of snakes. And it was only a piece of grass rope.
So you can imagine the days after that—it beca known that whenever Qin Xue saw him bullying people, she’d get a snake to scare him. Of course, Qin Xue herself didn’t catch the snakes; it was her sister Nangong Beiying who did.
Because Qin Xue was also afraid of snakes, every ti they caught one, she would stand far away, just watching.
She had no choice; having two brave won with her ant she could act scared yet still use snakes to frighten others.
Later, they learned why the boy was so afraid of snakes; it turned out he was bitten by a snake as a child and nearly died, leaving him with a psychological shadow.
Qin Xue then wondered if she’d gone too far and later, the three of them discussed it and left him a note, asking him not to bully people anymore, promising there would be no more snakes appearing before him.
After seeing the note, the boy genuinely stopped bullying others, and of course, Qin Xue and her friends also stopped using snakes to scare him. This experience deepened their understanding of the saying "once bitten by a snake, one fears grass ropes for ten years."
So really, if you plan on pranking Qin Xue, be careful not to get pranked back. She truly admires Qin Xue, the girl who is terrified of sothing yet has a way of getting others to help her accomplish things, just like her.
Qin Xue is very afraid of snakes, but Nangong Beiying isn’t. Having been raised as a boy by her father since she was young, she’s truly fearless about such things.
Because of this, Qin Xue targets her, getting her to catch snakes to scare people. At the ti, Beiying didn’t know what she was thinking, but when Qin Xue asked her to go, she really took Chenchen and Qin Xue along.
The other two watched her as she went alone to find snake holes and catch snakes. How she had such courage back then to just go. Luckily, they didn’t encounter any other danger. Otherwise, the consequence is unimaginable.
