Chapter 1976: Chapter 1970: Why Not Co Inside

“Xue’er, why didn’t you co inside after returning, what’s wrong?” Chu Molin heard footsteps and knew his wife was back, but after a while he didn’t see her co in. Reluctantly, he set aside the book he was reading and ca out to check, only to see her grabbing her hair.

“Nothing. Are you going sowhere?” Qin Xue thought Chu Molin was headed out, which was why he had co to find her.

“No, I knew you were back but didn’t see you. I thought sothing happened, so I ca out to check.” Chu Molin explained.

“Oh, I thought you were going back to the institute.” Qin Xue nodded, realizing she was mistaken.

“I’m not.” Chu Molin had just returned; what would be the point of going back so soon? He wouldn’t return to work until tomorrow morning.

“Let’s go inside. I’ll take a quick shower first. I’m sweating all over; it’s uncomfortable.” Qin Xue looked at the sweat on her arms. It was really hot, thankfully she had brought an umbrella or she would have turned into charcoal.

“Alright, take a rest first, I’ll go boil so water for you.” Chu Molin glanced at Qin Xue. With this blazing sun, how could anyone not feel hot?

“Okay.” Qin Xue wanted to enter the space, but knowing Fang Xiu was there, she had to keep up appearances. Once the water was brought in, she’d enter the space to soak in the Spirit Spring.

“Babies, mommy’s ho, have you been listening and behaving?” Qin Xue looked at the children playing in the living room. It seed they really needed to plant a couple of fruit trees in the yard; otherwise, the sumr heat would be unbearable.

“We have.” The children answered Qin Xue in unison.

“Such good kids.” Qin Xue realized that the children had incredible tacit understanding among them. Whenever she asked a question, they’d just look at each other and the answer would always be the sa, without any mistakes.

“Mom, you go rest, we’ll be good.” Yu Ze was on the side, looking at the book Chu Molin had taken out. He wasn’t playing gas with the others because he found it boring. He preferred reading.

“Alright, but Yu Ze, do you understand what you’re reading?” Qin Xue sat beside her eldest son, watching him flip through the book.

“I don’t understand.” Even if Yu Ze understood, he couldn’t say so. His parents didn’t know he was born with past mories. Saying he understood might scare them, so he didn’t reveal that he comprehended it.

“No worries, flipping through books you like can also be beneficial, giving you so impression.” Qin Xue didn’t dismiss his behavior.

Children need to be nurtured with good habits from a young age. Since he liked it, she let him be. That way, he’d have an early frawork for what words look like, making it easier to learn later.

“That’s what I think too. I find them adorable.” Yu Ze looked at the books with interest. Previously, he hadn’t touched research books, now realizing how fascinating research could be. Apparently, he had been too narrow-minded before.

“It’s fine, take your ti reading. Mommy will wash up and take a rest.” Qin Xue patted her eldest son’s head, stood up, and went back to the room to get her pajamas.

“Okay.” Yu Ze was now used to Qin Xue patting his head.

“Xue’er, I brought the water to the bathroom, you can go over.” When Chu Molin brought the water over and didn’t see his wife, he assud she was in the room, so he went back to call her.

“Okay, I got it.” Qin Xue took pajamas out of the cupboard and heard her husband’s voice.

“I’ll be in the yard reading. Just call if you need anything.” Chu Molin heard her response and, leaving a few instructions, went back to his tasks as he still had so work unfinished.

“Okay, I know.” Qin Xue looked at the pajamas in her hand. Now she couldn’t wear too revealing sleepwear; the children were growing up, and she needed to be cautious. It’s better to wear cotton ones, since they absorb sweat well.
