In her sleep, Qin Xue seed to have dread about Chu Molin, so when she felt his familiar presence, she kept moving closer. But this only made things difficult for our Mr. Chu.
"Xue’er, just sleep peacefully." Chu Molin sat up slightly, looking at his restless wife. Normally so well-behaved, yet she always changes when she falls asleep, and it has never changed.
"Huh, Chu Molin, why are you here?" Qin Xue, hearing Chu Molin’s voice, opened her sleepy eyes and saw the man beside her.
"Gong Wuyou went back, so I ca to read a book. Did you have a nightmare?" Chu Molin asked Qin Xue, unsure what she had dread about.
"Hmm, maybe. I don’t really rember." It wasn’t that Qin Xue didn’t want to say, but she genuinely couldn’t recall after waking up.
"Is that so? Then don’t think about it anymore. Do you want to go back to sleep?" Chu Molin looked at his wife, who was lost in thought, unwilling to let her dwell on unpleasant things.
"Yes, I feel really exhausted. I’m not sure why. I’ve never felt this way before." Qin Xue truly hadn’t been this tired before, always wanting to sleep.
"Are you ill? How about going to the hospital for a check-up?" Chu Molin also felt that his wife wasn’t quite herself recently.
"No need, I’m a doctor myself. What doctor should I see? Aside from being a bit tired, there’s nothing wrong with . I don’t need to go. Maybe I just pushed myself too hard in Zhongzhai, so I’m ntally and physically exhausted, that’s all." Qin Xue chuckled, knowing that although doctors can’t treat themselves, she felt no discomfort other than a sense of overexertion. So she wasn’t really sick, and she wondered if it was because she had donated too much blood, which might be causing this.
But she couldn’t tell Chu Molin this because he had opposed her doing this before. If she ntioned it, he would definitely bla himself, thinking it was because he didn’t fulfill his responsibilities as a husband, leaving her unable to take care of herself properly.
However, no matter what, Qin Xue was aware of her own body’s condition.
"Every ti I suggest sothing, you refuse. Aren’t you uncomfortable? Clearly, sothing is wrong with your condition." Chu Molin’s expression darkened.
"Chu Molin, I’m really fine. You saw it yourself when you ca back. I haven’t done much; I’m just tired. How about this, I’ll do nothing for these two days and just rest at ho with you and the kids, okay? Trust , I’ll get back to normal soon." Qin Xue reached out to hug his waist, pleading with him.
"You always say I don’t take care of my health, but I think you’re even stubbier than . I don’t know what’s gotten into you." Chu Molin’s heart softened. Looking at his wife, aside from being tired, there was nothing else, so if she didn’t want to go, they would just wait and see.
"Chu Molin, accompany for a nap. Then we’ll get up and cook, and we can go out and have fun." Qin Xue thought about wanting to be with her husband and child, thinking a stroll would be good exercise.
"Alright, sleep now." Chu Molin lay down, gently patting Qin Xue’s back as if coaxing a child to sleep. Although the gesture was sowhat childish, Qin Xue found it sweet.
"Xue Ling, why aren’t Mom and Dad up yet? They can really sleep, can’t they?" Xue Ling, playing in the yard with three kids, noticed their parents had been sleeping for a long ti without appearing.
They all felt their parents were sleeping too long, as it had already been quite a while.
"Your mother’s situation is unique. She’s too tired, let her sleep a bit more." Xue Ling glanced at the children, thinking it might be interesting to see how careless Qin Xue could be.
"Alright, then let’s play a bit quieter so we don’t disturb them." Cohen, hearing Xue Ling’s words, told his younger brothers to lower their voices.
