"Why have you circled back again? Can’t you change your wording?" Qing Zhu wanted to hit soone.
"Alright, I won’t say it. You think about it yourself." Qin Xue didn’t know what reason to use either, so she let her think for herself.
"Xuexue, do you think if I told him to buy it for his daughter’s dowry in the future, how does that reason sound? Would he agree?" Qing Zhu racked her brains and finally ca up with a powerful reason.
"Sure, given how much he dotes on his daughter, don’t ntion purchasing one. If he had the money, he might even buy several." Qin Xue thought Qing Zhu’s mind was really sharp. To co up with such a reason, she was impressed.
"Then it’s settled. I must make him buy a set as a reward for his little tadpole." Qing Zhu thought of her daughter as a gift from the heavens.
"Alright, stop overthinking. As long as you ask him, he will agree." Qin Xue thought about how Ye Xuan was currently thinking of marrying Qing Zhu. As long as Qing Zhu spoke up, Ye Xuan, to make her happy and since this was an investnt, would surely buy it. However, it might seem like Qing Zhu was begging to get married, and she didn’t know if she would agree to that.
"Okay, I won’t think about it anymore. I’ll go check on the kids. You should go keep your husband company. It’s pitiful to see him sitting there alone." While talking to Qin Xue, Qing Zhu noticed Chu Molin sitting alone and decided not to monopolize Qin Xue’s ti.
"Alright, I’ll head over." Qin Xue also noticed and realized she had neglected him.
"Okay." Qing Zhu nodded and walked towards the father and daughter.
"Why did you co over?" Chu Molin felt a shadow fall in front of him and looked up to find that it was his wife. He wondered why she ca over at this ti.
"Honey, don’t you want to see ?" Qin Xue’s tone was full of complaints and seed quite pitiful.
"What nonsense are you talking about? When did I say that? Aren’t you the one who wanted to accompany your best friend? How did it beco my fault?" Chu Molin took her hand, letting her sit on the chair beside him. This woman had a tendency to muddle things up when she didn’t want to do sothing, and he hoped his wife didn’t have that tendency.
"Seeing you sitting here alone looked boring, so I ca over to keep you company. Chu Molin, I’m sorry I haven’t had the ti to be with you. Now that you’re back from leave, I’m always delayed by sothing." Qin Xue leaned on his shoulder, longing for ti to freeze at this mont, which had long been a peaceful ti for them.
"I know you have your thoughts, as long as you’re happy, don’t think too much about anything else. Can’t I see you now anyway?" Chu Molin turned his head to glance at the head resting on his shoulder. Maybe she thought too much.
"Let’s go into the space when we go back tonight." Qin Xue thought about it; she hadn’t entered the space in a long ti. She wanted to go in and check on the herbs and also have a private mont with Chu Molin.
"Okay." Chu Molin wouldn’t have any objections. Whatever she said goes.
"Chu Molin, let ask you a question." Qin Xue spoke calmly.
"What question?" Chu Molin didn’t know what his wife was thinking about. As long as she was willing to say it, he was willing to listen.
"If I weren’t my dad’s daughter, and my father were soone else, would you find it strange?" Qin Xue had thought about this question for a long ti before deciding to ask Chu Molin.
Chu Molin must have known, right? He had seen Xiao Yu and had t Qin Huaihe at the research institute. Why didn’t he ask anything all along, and didn’t he find it strange?
This is a question that Qin Xue could figure out, so Chu Molin must have understood the inside story as well, but he never ntioned it in front of her. Maybe Qin Huaihe had approached him without her knowing.
