“You should go back, young master. I’ll watch over the children.” When Xue Ling entered the room, she saw Chu Molin reading and told him to return to their own room. She wasn’t just going to put the children to bed; she was here to teach them mantras and techniques.

“Yes.” Although Yu Chen seed a bit unsure, he responded earnestly to Xue Ling before beginning to recite what she taught them every night.
“Barely passable, Yu Chen. If you continue to be inattentive, I’ll stop letting you visit your mom, do you believe ?” Xue Ling used Qin Xue as bait.
“Understood, Master, I’ll definitely study hard.” Yu Chen nodded. How could that be? Dad said they were n and had to protect their mom, so no matter what, he had to be with her.

“Rest now.” Xue Ling sent them back to their small beds. It was rare to have a room with four beds like theirs, but since the children were still small, so were the beds. It wouldn’t work as they grew bigger.

Don’t you think that’s impressive?” Qin Xue sought validation from Chu Molin, wanting him to praise her. Qin Xue was being a bit coquettish, but she simply wanted his affection.
