Qing Zhu listened to Qin Xue and Ouyang Ziyu talking, and she really wanted to say that it’s not easy to learn, but then she thought it’s the 1980s and she wasn’t a doctor; she had never studied dicine. If she knew as much as Qin Xue, how would she explain it when asked how she knew so much?
So Qing Zhu just listened from the side, not responding, because it really brought up a feeling of discomfort.
And not everyone could accept this kind of thing, so Qing Zhu kept her mouth tightly shut, only occasionally glancing at the two next to her.
"Alright, I won’t think about it anymore. Anything can happen in this world. I’ll look up so information on the symptoms you ntioned when I get back, to see if there’s anything about it. But, Qin Xue, I’m curious as to how you know about this?" Ouyang Ziyu knew Qin Xue was better at dicine than she was, but she had been to the Qin village. No one there said Qin Xue had studied dicine; they all said she learned after marrying Chu Molin.
But while others didn’t know how difficult it was to study dicine, she did. Studying dicine is exceedingly dull, and how could one person learn so much in just a year?
"I’ve always been self-studying this, but because I hadn’t practiced on anyone, I never dared to tell people I knew dicine. Later, when I went to S Province, since I was alone at ho, I beca even more obsessed. You know, his job had him traveling frequently, so he didn’t have ti to care for .
I was bored, so I’d occasionally buy a chicken or catch a mouse to experint on. It was all sothing I figured out on my own step by step. Fortunately, I t a good ntor, and with hands-on teaching from him, I got to where I am today." Qin Xue spoke truthfully yet with ambiguity, making Ouyang Ziyu unsure if she was telling the truth.
But Ouyang Ziyu was only curious because she heard of a new case; she didn’t intend to probe deeply. So, after hearing Qin Xue’s explanation, she simply nodded without further questioning.
"Are you planning to walk there? If I rember correctly, it’s quite far from here, isn’t it?" Ouyang Ziyu asked, though her tone was certain.
"Yes, so we need to find a car." Qin Xue would have considered walking if it were with Chu Molin, but not with the others.
It’s not that she minded being with them, but because both she and Qing Zhu had children, and they weren’t coming with them. Walking that distance and possibly not returning quickly ant she couldn’t take care of the kids, so taking a car was much faster.
"I thought so; I’ve been there too, but rarely." Ouyang Ziyu had gone with Dongfang.
"Many people there have minor ailnts, but as long as you’re careful, it’s not a big deal." Qin Xue assud Ouyang had visited for dical reasons.
"Mm."
Even though researchers also study techniques, they aren’t doctors. Ouyang Ziyu strongly agreed with this view.
The three of them found a car and sat, looking out the window at the trees. Qin Xue didn’t know why, but every ti she passed by, she felt a ntal discomfort.
No matter what, she didn’t want to dwell on it, because the more she thought about it, the more uneasy she felt.
"The scenery here is nice, isn’t it? It truly is refreshing, and no matter how depressed you are, seeing such sights can lighten your mood." Ouyang Ziyu didn’t have the sa psychological reaction as Qin Xue. She found it beautiful and inspiring.
