After leaving The Yes, Chu Molin and Qin Xue went grocery shopping. They couldn’t possibly invite soone over for dinner without having anything to eat, so the couple bought quite a few groceries. Of course, so items were things Qin Xue retrieved from her stash because there were so vegetables they didn’t need to buy since they already had them. No need to waste money on what wasn’t necessary.
"Xue’er, let’s head back. We’ve got plenty; it’s enough to eat," Chu Molin suggested, as he still wanted to spend so quality ti with Qin Xue. In such a situation, how could they waste ti on grocery shopping and cooking?
"Okay, but why are you acting so strange today?" Qin Xue noticed that sothing seed off with Chu Molin today.
"You’re overthinking things. I’m perfectly normal, just missed you, so I hoped we could have so ti alone together," Chu Molin said casually.
"Is it really nothing?" Qin Xue found it hard to believe.
"Of course," Chu Molin said confidently, without any guilt. He looked at Qin Xue openly, having nothing to hide, and felt she was overthinking things.
He truly had nothing to hide, so he wasn’t afraid of her gaze. If there was anything, it was that he had prepared a surprise. But it wasn’t the ti to reveal it just yet; he’d tell her when the mont to retrieve it ca.
"Let’s go ho. Arguing about this on the road is pointless, isn’t it?" Qin Xue felt a bit foolish.
"Follow ," Chu Molin said. He brought Qin Xue out to give her a surprise, and since the surprise hadn’t arrived yet, they couldn’t just go back now.
"Go where?" Qin Xue wondered, seeing they were still carrying a lot. She wondered what else they needed to buy.
"You’ll find out soon," Chu Molin replied, leading Qin Xue along without revealing the destination. If he told her, she might guess it, and then it wouldn’t be a surprise.
"This is..." Qin Xue saw the words "Silver Building." What were they going to buy here?
"Co on in," Chu Molin said gently. He had wanted to do this ever since he realized the significance of this thing, but he never had the chance until he recently found out about it and ca accordingly.
"Acting all mysterious," Qin Xue remarked, though she found his actions a bit odd. Still, she had a feeling about what it might be. She wondered if he could really be so romantic.
It wasn’t that Qin Xue didn’t trust Chu Molin; it was just that she felt n weren’t usually that detail-oriented. Even though Chu Molin often outperford others and did more than most, she still found it hard to believe he would surprise her. She worried the surprise might turn into a shock.
However, she didn’t tell Chu Molin what she suspected. Instead, she followed his lead, letting him do what he wanted. It was rare for him to be so considerate, so she should give him more chances. Otherwise, what if he stopped trying in the future? Even if it was a shock, she’d let him do it a few more tis.
"Has my order arrived?" Chu Molin placed the receipt in front of the sales clerk.
"Yes, it arrived yesterday," the sales clerk replied, looking at the handso man. She had wondered who was so lucky to marry him, and now he brought such a beautiful woman today. No wonder he’d buy a ring.
"Let take a look," Chu Molin requested. He had seen this particular ring the last ti he ca, but it wasn’t the right size for Qin Xue. It was a bit too large, though he liked it and felt it suited his wife. He had to order it in the correct size, and the downside was the wait ti.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t have chosen today to bring his wife. This was his gift for her, and the atmosphere could not be disrupted by onlookers.
