Here, Ye Zishu and Ye Li are discussing how to hang out with Qin Jiale and keep other boys from pursuing her, while Qin Xue is at ho watching Chu Molin. What is he up to?
"Are you going out?" Qin Xue couldn’t help but ask.
"Yeah, I’m going to Old Third’s house to call the principal and see if I can get two more exam slots." Chu Molin had already promised, so he couldn’t back out. Besides, he really couldn’t refuse this request.
"Are you sure Dad won’t call when he gets back?" Qin Xue looked at Chu Molin, who was heading to the door. She had a feeling he’d make a move as soon as he returned.
"He’ll do his thing, and I’ll do mine. Anyway, a promise is a promise, and we have to keep it. That’s a person’s integrity. Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon," Chu Molin said to Qin Xue before leaving.
"I’m not worried about you; I’m just concerned that the principal might think you guys are taking turns bombarding him." Qin Xue didn’t care how Chu Molin felt because she had different concerns, so they weren’t on the sa page.
"We’re bringing him talent. If he finds that annoying, I don’t think he will," Chu Molin said as he walked out.
Qin Xue, feeling bored, went straight to bed. As for when Chu Molin returned, she seed to sense it in her drowsiness but was too tired to open her eyes, so she didn’t know what ti he ca back.
Chu Molin looked at his sleeping wife and gently moved her over. She was sleeping so soundly that she didn’t wake up when he returned. She must have been exhausted today. He wondered how to make sure she wouldn’t be this tired in the future.
As he pondered this while lying down on the empty side of the bed, Chu Molin couldn’t think of a solution. He just held Qin Xue and fell asleep, deciding to deal with it later. Otherwise, no matter how much he thought about it, it wouldn’t help if she didn’t cooperate.

The next morning, Chu Molin went to work, and Ye Zishu and the others went for their exams. Qin Xue was still asleep. By the ti she got up, everyone was busy with their own tasks. Qin Xue followed her usual routine of making breakfast and then going to the store to stock up. Qing Zhu had arranged her tasks for the store manager, so when she had ti, she helped Qin Xue with the store’s work. After all, she was part of it and wanted to do a good job, which was necessary if they wanted to make more money.
Near noon, after Ye Zishu and Ye Li handed in their well-done exam papers to the principal and teachers, they waited nervously on the side. But neither showed any noticeable emotions, which made the principal and teachers think these young kids were indeed formidable. So young, yet so composed. Imagine how extraordinary they’d be as they grew older. It was amazing to see one person like this yesterday and now two more today. It felt like all these exceptional people were flocking to Chu Molin’s household. Would he keep sending more like them in the future?
