"Qing Zhu, you’re back?" Qin Jiale ca out of the shower room and glanced into the kitchen as she passed by, seeing Qing Zhu cooking. She had heard noises from outside while inside, but she knew Yu Ze was at ho, so she hadn’t co out imdiately, opting to finish showering first. She hadn’t expected to see Qing Zhu, whom she hadn’t seen for days, once she ca out.
"Yeah, are you ho alone?" Qing Zhu looked at Qin Jiale. Was she ho alone, leaving a child to play in the living room with the door wide open while she took a shower? Really carefree.
"No, aren’t my brothers ho? Didn’t you see them?" Qin Jiale certainly wasn’t alone at ho; there were clearly several of them at ho.
"I didn’t see them, only Yu Ze at ho. You guys are really carefree. What if soone ca in and took the child?" Qing Zhu thought of later years, those kids who were taken while playing at their doorstep or yard without adults around. The thought was terrifying, yet they just left the door open with a child there, while she, a young girl, was inside showering. They really didn’t know what danger was.
"Can you please be more mindful in the future? Don’t you know this is very dangerous? What would you do if a bad person ca?" Qing Zhu decided it was better to talk to her about it now, or else she would really understand nothing.
"What happened?" Qin Jiale genuinely didn’t know what had occurred.
"You really don’t know what happened? Don’t you understand the consequences of doing this? Look..." Qing Zhu explained to Qin Jiale everything that happened after they ca back, watching her face change.
"Is it really like that?" Qin Jiale couldn’t have imagined it would be like that after she went into the shower room. Just thinking about it was scary. No wonder Qing Zhu’s expression was off upon seeing her; it was really too dangerous.
"What did you think? If you think I’m lying, you can ask your sister and the others, they’re in the room. You, you still have too little social experience and don’t know how treacherous the world can be. You need to understand a saying: ’You know the face but not the heart.’ Not everyone is kind; you must protect yourself as the best strategy." Qing Zhu said earnestly.
Perhaps because Qin Xue and the others had lived here for a long ti, the people nearby knew them and looked out for them. Otherwise, considering how people lack resources nowadays, it would be strange if no one ca in to steal things.
"I’ll be more careful from now on, thank you, Qing Zhu." Qin Jiale now wanted to give her brother a beating. What on earth was he thinking, being so irresponsible?
"Girls need to protect themselves. Only when you’re strong can you protect yourself from harm. If you have ti, I can teach you so self-defense moves. At the very least, I can teach you a set of anti-wolf moves." Qing Zhu, fond of Qin Jiale, who was like her god-sister, was willing to teach her what she knew and more.
