The rare occasions when the couple stroll hand in hand in public attract a lot of attention and gossip, but Qin Xue and Chu Molin continue walking calmly, occasionally exchanging glances that convey everything without words. What others say has nothing to do with them.
"Miss, we et again, it’s been a long ti. Do you rember ?" Gu Beihan approached them as if led by an unseen force upon seeing Qin Xue and Chu Molin shopping together.
"I don’t rember. Is there sothing you need?" Qin Xue glanced at the man before her, who looked refined and gentle. What was his intention?
"It’s just that I saw my lifesaver and ca over to say hello. Is it a cri to do so without other reasons?" Gu Beihan didn’t even glance at Chu Molin, completely ignoring his hostile gaze. The more Molin disliked him, the more Gu Beihan enjoyed it, feeling quite satisfied.
"Haven’t you ever heard of ’good dogs don’t block the way’?" Chu Molin, holding Qin Xue’s hand, was ready to leave, but the man stood right in the way, making it impossible for them to pass.
"So there’s also a dog here. Miss, you should be careful not to get bitten." Gu Beihan was indifferent to Molin’s remark. He wasn’t a dog, so why would he care? Yet he found this man’s expression truly intimidating. But did he think that would scare Gu Beihan? Not a chance.
However, even so, Gu Beihan’s composure was still not solid. Just a few words and he lost his cool. Tsk, was he overestimating himself?
"Is this fun for you?" Qin Xue squeezed Molin’s palm, signaling him to stay calm.
"Not really." Gu Beihan replied with a smile, showing no embarrassnt at all, because that’s honestly how he felt.
"Then why are you still blocking our way? Do you want to invite you to dinner or sothing?" Qin Xue really felt like kicking him. What kind of person was this, showing up just to assert his presence? If he angered Chu Molin, she would certainly make him regret ever stepping foot into this world.
Considering how much Chu Molin cared for her, if Gu Beihan said a few more words, Molin might actually get angry. At that point, she might really want to kill him.
"Oh, Miss, I’m just too excited to et my lifesaver, so I ca over to beco familiar with you. How could you make it sound like I’m so kind of rogue? I really don’t an any harm, you know. A drop of grace deserves a spring in return, let alone a lifesaving grace." From the mont he t them, Gu Beihan maintained a smiling facade, in stark contrast to Chu Molin’s cold deanor. But looking at his smiling face, Qin Xue didn’t feel like giving him a good look. They’d t a few tis before but never had any significant conversation. Yet this ti, he seized the chance to assert his existence in front of Molin, truly irritating her.
Anyone who tries to undermine their marital relationship is her enemy. If necessary, she wouldn’t hesitate to show him what true interference looks like—or rather, how despicable a pest can be. She was so angry she could no longer tell admirable from detestable behavior, almost likening herself to sothing foul.
"In that case, why don’t you cool off sowhere else? Can’t you see we’re out for a stroll? Is it really that appropriate to disturb us?" Qin Xue pulled Chu Molin along, bypassing him, utterly speechless at the man’s behavior. What kind of person does this? Isn’t it inappropriate? Plus, they were in their own little world, and having a stranger blocking the way was just exasperating.
Anyway, she wouldn’t waste her ti with this. With the sa amount of leisure, she could be looking at things for the kids with Chu Molin. It would be much better for the family to spend ti together having fun.
