"You must have seen it wrong, no need to dwell on it." Xue Ling didn’t even want to discuss it with her, as this wasn’t the first ti such things happened. Saying more just felt like wasting its breath.
When it ca to being critical, Xue Ling would definitely be the first to criticize Qin Xue, yet she was also the one it absolutely couldn’t afford to offend, otherwise it would surely suffer. That’s just how its master was; if you wanted things to go well, it’s best to just obediently follow orders.
"Alright, I saw wrong, fine. Let’s go, didn’t you say we were going? If we wait any longer, we’ll be locked inside," Qin Xue glanced at the ridiculously pretty little girl. It claid to have made a breakthrough and would grow a bit, but she saw no change at all. She couldn’t understand how it perceived its own growth.
So, no matter how she looked, it seed off. She’d just wait for her to co along. Otherwise, no matter how she looked, it was still the sa.
However, it claid there was change, so she’d tentatively believe it. Maybe after a while, she’d really notice so change.
For now, they were going out to have so fun, so she let it be. She’d see if there would be any changes next ti it made a breakthrough.
"Master, I noticed you’ve got a new pet now, haven’t you? You’re treating poorly. Look at , I’ve lost favor. Can you really bear to treat this way?" Xue Ling never thought it would find itself competing for attention, but now it felt neglected by Qin Xue, and it was truly upset.
But no matter what Xue Ling said, it was no use, because Qin Xue hadn’t done anything to it. It was still obedient, just that she had other things on her mind now, and just wanted to do so other things.
Qin Xue didn’t know how to explain this to Xue Ling, so she let it misunderstand. After all, it would understand in the future. That’s just how Qin Xue saw things; not knowing now wasn’t a problem, as long as it figured it out later.
Now they were ready to set off. After locking the door, they headed out, likely not returning until night.
"Chu Molin, are you sure this is the place?" Qin Xue looked around; there were barely any people. How did it beco the best temple?
"Yeah, this is the place I knew from when I was young. Back then, there were lots of people coming here. But I don’t know why it’s so empty now. That’s why I said we should ask soone, because I didn’t know beforehand, so I didn’t understand this situation. This isn’t sothing I expected." Chu Molin hadn’t been back in a long ti, so when asked what’s good, he could only rely on his mory. All he rembered was this place, so he brought everyone here.
But seeing the current state, he wondered if he had the wrong place. Yet he knew this had to be it.
Qin Xue thought about it and figured maybe he didn’t get it wrong. Perhaps sothing happened here before. She trusted Chu Molin; if he said it was thriving here, then it must have been bustling before. Now seeing it so empty seed very odd to her.
"Let’s go inside and check it out, since we’re already here." Xue Ling looked up and didn’t think it seed that bad. On the contrary, it felt like a very comfortable and peaceful place.
But it didn’t know what had happened here either, so they could only take it step by step. At worst, this was only their first stop; they could always visit other places later.
Xue Ling’s thoughts were quite casual, because to it, these temples couldn’t compare to the awe of seeing it for real. Only if people’s wishes weren’t fulfilled would they naturally stop coming.
