"Xue’er." After catching up to his wife, Chu Molin glanced at her.
"I’m not upset. If there’s sothing, just say it." Qin Xue sighed. Right now, she had no choice. The baby was crying from hunger, and Dongfang Li didn’t have any milk. She had only fed the baby so warm water, but the baby refused to drink it because it was tasteless. There was no ti to talk about anything else here; feeding the baby was the priority.
"We went to her place to get it. Because we didn’t have the key at first, so..." Chu Molin explained everything to Qin Xue, except for fighting and that thing.
"I was wondering why it took you so long. It’s nothing, I just feared Dongfang Li would be distressed and anxious, which would further reduce her milk supply to feed the baby. I’m going to prepare so food for the baby now. Are you coming in with or waiting outside?" Qin Xue looked at Chu Molin. He could co in, but so people just don’t like to face soone else’s wife.
"I’ll wait outside for you." Chu Molin responded without even thinking. It was precisely as Qin Xue thought; he wasn’t interested in other people’s wives, so he preferred to wait outside. Moreover, waiting outside was less awkward—a much better choice.
"Alright then, I’ll go in first. We’ll pick up the baby to go ho later." Qin Xue nodded. She didn’t force him since he didn’t want to co in. It didn’t matter anyway.
"Okay." Chu Molin originally planned to pick up the baby later, and now it was even better with his wife. They hadn’t spent quality ti together for a while, and now he could accompany them. How nice.
"What are you doing outside?" Jin Yufeng approached from behind, seeing Chu Molin standing outside, lost in thought, and asked in confusion.
"That’s your wife, what’s it got to do with ?" Chu Molin’s point was simple: whoever’s wife it was, they should take care of her. It had nothing to do with him.
"So heartless. Alright, I got it. You wait outside all you want." What more could he say? If soone didn’t want to go in, he would go in himself.
Besides, Chu Molin wasn’t wrong. It was indeed his wife, so he should care for her himself.
As for Jin Yufeng’s words, Chu Molin felt unmoved. He rely stared at his own toes, indifferent to what was said, maintaining a look that nothing concerned him, which irritated the other person but left him helpless.
Regarding this, Jin Yufeng wanted to say sothing but ultimately said nothing, opening the door and going inside.
"Qin Xue, thank you. You should go ho and rest. You’ve had a hard day today." Dongfang Li smiled as she looked at her sleeping son and thanked Qin Xue, but her eyes didn’t look towards Jin Yufeng. There were so things she didn’t know how to face, so she could only choose to avoid them.
However, Jin Yufeng got used to Dongfang Li’s attitude recently, and it didn’t bother him in the slightest.
He had treated her the sa way before. Now it was just coming full circle. What could he do but put up with it?
"Alright, I’ll head out then. If you need anything, get the nurse. I’ll take Nannan to my house for now. You can focus on recovering. You can pick up the baby from my place whenever you’re ready." Qin Xue could only help so much; ultimately, they had to rely on themselves.
"Okay, I understand. Thank you." Dongfang Li felt relieved hearing this. Although she didn’t have to worry with Jin Yufeng around, she preferred for her son not to be cared for by soone else. And she was grateful for all Qin Xue had done for them during this ti, having noted it all ntally. Having her help with the baby, she was truly thankful.
"No need to be polite. You guys chat. I’ll be leaving." Qin Xue waved her hand and opened the door to leave.
