Qin Xue sighed helplessly. Can’t it be at a different ti? She was about to find out about Chu Molin, but was interrupted again. It seems like fate doesn’t want her to know.
"Li Rong, Ding Xi, are you guys off work?" Qin Xue turned around and greeted them with a smile.
"Yeah, I wasn’t supposed to work today, but an unexpected situation ca up, so I had to step in. Are you guys planning to head back? Do you have ti to get together?" When Li Rong spoke, Ding Xi stayed quiet, letting her chat with Qin Xue.
"We can, but we need to pick up the children first. How about you decide on a place, and we’ll et up later?" Qin Xue considered it; it wasn’t impossible, but school was about to finish, and they needed to pick up the kids from the store. With Xue Ling in her space, she and Chu Molin could only go together.
"Sure, let’s decide on Yuxuan Restaurant then. It should be okay there. I heard they have private rooms." Li Rong had just arrived in the Imperial Capital, so she wasn’t sure about current events. This was the best option.
Since she heard people talking about Yuxuan Restaurant, she had to try the food there to test the flavor. If it’s good, they can choose it as their gathering place next ti.
"Sounds good; I have no problem with that. You head over first, and we’ll go pick up the kids now." Qin Xue agreed with the plan, and since it was Nangong Beiying’s store, she had no objections.
"Alright, we’ll go ahead, and you catch up with us later." Li Rong nodded. Because of Ding Xi, she and Qin Xue had a good relationship. Since their n were such good friends, it was only natural for them to beco friends too.
"Okay, sure." Qin Xue nodded in agreent.
"Chu Molin, let’s split up to pick up the kids. You can head to the school, and I’ll go to the store. It’ll be quicker this way." After Li Rong and the others left, Qin Xue thought it would be faster if they divided up the tasks.
"No need, I’ll go with you to the store first, then to the school. We have enough ti." Chu Molin knew what she was worried about—she didn’t want the children left waiting after school, which might upset them.
The timing worked for them to go from the store to school since they weren’t far apart; it was a straightforward route: the store, then the school, then the restaurant. This route couldn’t be more convenient.
"That works too, I just worry you’ll be too tired." Qin Xue felt there was no choice. Since he insisted on going together, they would go together. It didn’t matter much to her, but Chu Molin had walked quite a distance already, and walking with her would tire him.
"I’m not tired; you are. Have the two kids been troubleso?" Chu Molin looked at the woman beside him, carrying such a big belly around while busy all day without a word of complaint. How could he be tired?
Yet, seeing her concerned expression softened his heart imnsely.
"They’ve been quite good, but who knows how they’ll be after they’re born?" Qin Xue touched her belly. So children are well-behaved in the womb but can be quite a handful once they’re born, often crying and causing headaches.
"My kids will undoubtedly be very well-behaved. Look at the two boys—they’re so well-behaved and sensible. Imagine the girls! But I hope the girls are a bit feisty, unlike the boys, so they won’t be easily bullied." Chu Molin didn’t want his kids to endure hardships silently.
