Thinking of this, Ouyang Ziyu truly felt she was overthinking. Qin Yu wasn’t that kind of person anyway.

"Yes, let’s go. But aren’t you really going to ask why I want to do this?" Ouyang Ziyu couldn’t help but express the guilty feeling in her heart, and she asked him.
"No need, you must have your reasons for doing this." Qin Yu shook his head. For him, he didn’t dislike Ouyang Ziyu, and getting married wasn’t a big deal.

Even though they were just friends now, from the mont he agreed to her, he hadn’t thought of wronging her. So when he heard Ouyang Ziyu say that, he directly rejected it.
Even if there’s no emotional connection, they’re still friends, aren’t they? Even if it’s just for an ergency, he hadn’t planned to let her feel regret. Since she didn’t want these things, then anyone else going through the formalities with her would be the sa. Why should he insist on doing it himself?
