"There’s nothing unusual on my end." Xie Jun returned to the agreed-upon spot and saw Chu Molin waiting there. He shared what he had observed.
"There’s nothing on my side either. But isn’t it unbelievable? There was supposed to be sothing happening, and now after one afternoon, there’s nothing unusual. Did they discover sothing, or do they really have no intention?" Chu Molin kept pondering this question.
When they arrived, they hadn’t done anything, so seeing the situation now, he didn’t know how to react.
"Don’t worry, I’ll strengthen the defenses. Let’s head back. I’ll take care of the rest." Xie Jun looked at his friend, who always led the charge while he covered from behind. Now that his friend was gone, he’d have to handle everything himself.
But he didn’t say it was bad, just tiring, because their work was heavy. It’s not that things couldn’t be done; it just depended on the situation.
"Alright, let’s go." Chu Molin had no objections. For him, as long as Xie Jun had a plan, that was enough.
"You should be able to kick off a competition over there soon, right?" Xie Jun thought of the team Chu Molin had been preparing. Now that he was gone, who knew how things would turn out?
"No competition, just evaluations, and then various training and adjustnts." Since Chu Molin had taken them in, they should know that if they don’t strive forward, they’ll be eliminated. So, it’s not happening no matter what they say or do.
Yet how to explain this to Xie Jun, especially since so people were sent over from his side?
Originally, Chu Molin wanted to take a few key mbers, but who knew things would change so quickly?
He no longer concerned himself with the matters at the office, so he decided not to worry about it.
"Is it a pity?" Xie Jun looked at his friend.
After so much effort and dedication, just when things were maturing, such a situation arose. Surely, it didn’t feel good, right?
"Not really. I’m not there, but soone else will step up. Others are also capable of doing these things, so I don’t feel there’s anything to pity." Chu Molin shook his head. This world doesn’t stop without him, Chu Molin. Knowing this, there’s nothing to regret.
"You make it sound so easy. I didn’t know you thought like that." Xie Jun said nothing more. To him, Chu Molin was just being stubborn.
"Isn’t it normal for you not to know what I’m thinking? Besides, I act this way because I know what I want, so what’s there to hold onto?" Chu Molin was clear about his position and knew his condition, which is why he said nothing.
"If everyone had your awareness, that would be great. Do you know how difficult it is for many people to find a stable job, especially work like ours? It’s even harder to secure." Xie Jun still felt bad for Chu Molin.
"That’s because others lack capability. For soone as capable as , finding work isn’t a problem. Enough about my situation. Let’s go back and rest a bit. You have a lot to do tomorrow, so don’t end up getting nothing done." Chu Molin noticed Xie Jun bringing the conversation back to him again. Couldn’t he have talked enough this afternoon?
"Let’s go. Sa old stubbornness, always has been." Xie Jun had known since he first t Chu Molin what kind of person he was. Stubborn as hell, but he had the confidence to back it up. Xie Jun really had no way to deal with him on matters like this. He was at a loss for words.
