Qin Xue, feeling helpless, opened her backpack and found only so pastries left. She might as well make do with them.
"Here, eat this for now. After I finish up, I’ll take you out to eat." Qin Xue and the others used to only leave the cafeteria when it closed, so now there was nothing to eat even if she took him there. They would have to wait until she finished her tasks to go out for food.

"I’m here." Gong Xi walked in and saw the woman nad Qin Xue from the morning busy in the director’s office, while a handso man watched her.

"Just sit and wait a bit, let finish this first," Qin Xue said without even looking up, focusing on completing her urgent work first.
For Qin Xue, the most important task now was solving the problem at hand. After that, she’d have no worries about what she wanted to do.
Facing Qin Xue’s change from earlier, Gong Xi was a bit puzzled.
