But that’s just how she was, timid at the front and timid at the back; for the sake of her family’s safety, she didn’t dare do anything, just quietly using what they had for now. Once she had the ability to protect her family, she would expand in one big move.
"I don’t even know if this boss is a man or a woman. The way you put it, I’m getting more and more curious. I feel like it’s a man. Have you t him?" Su Han picked up on a point and asked Qin Xue.
"How could I have? I didn’t even co out before, and then I went straight to the Imperial Capital. If it weren’t for my parents being here, I wouldn’t have co back either. If I actually knew the boss, that’d be great, but unfortunately I never had that chance." Qin Xue denied it.
Given that she’d only just shown up this once, if she really knew the boss, it wouldn’t make sense. That was sothing she absolutely couldn’t admit.
"Haha, you’re too modest. Fate is really impossible to explain. If the fate’s there, no matter where you are, you’ll still run into each other. It’s just that you’re being way too distant like this." Su Han was a bit disappointed; it really didn’t seem to be Qin Xue.

"Mm, makes sense. So are you guys staying in the shop or what?" Su Han hadn’t thought along those lines at first, but now that she saw the whole family here and took in the situation inside the shop, she wondered if they could even live here.
"Yeah, we’re all living together. We’re just back to see my parents, and we’re leaving in a couple of days. We won’t stay long, so there’s no need to rent another place." Qin Xue had originally co just to see them and deal with the liquor business; it was only that now the factory matters had been added in. Once everything was handled in one go, they’d be leaving.
Whether there was anywhere else to stay here was really nothing to worry about, okay.
"It’s rare for you to co back. Why not stay a few more days and have so fun?" Su Han hadn’t expected their schedule to be so tight.
She’d even planned to spend a few more days with them; worst case, she’d just keep an eye on when they went out each day and then arrange so ’coincidental’ etings.
"We’ve got things to do, we can’t afford to be held up here too long." This part, at least, Qin Xue wasn’t lying about.
As for exactly what they had to do, there was no need to spell that out for her.
"I see. That’s fine too. When you’ve gone back, if you want to co again next ti, just co. That way Uncle and Auntie won’t have to keep worrying about you all the ti." Su Han was unwilling, but there was nothing she could do. They’d already said they had things to take care of; if she kept pushing, she’d just be holding them up, and that was not a good idea.
"Yeah, all in all, it’s not that far between the two places, just that it still takes quite a while by bus." Qin Xue’s aning was very clear: they could co back, but if things got delayed, then they wouldn’t be able to get away.
"Exactly, transportation isn’t convenient right now. It’s still pretty hard if you want to go anywhere. It’s nothing like the fut—" Su Han cut herself off mid-sentence; she’d almost let sothing slip.
Luckily she realized sothing was wrong in ti and shut her mouth. Otherwise, people would definitely see her as so kind of freak.
"Like the what?" Qin Xue’s heart skipped a beat. What was she trying to say?
The what? Transportation isn’t convenient, and then "it’s like the fut—". Could that missing word be "ure"? If that was the case, then all the strange behavior she’d shown could be explained. But if, like her, Su Han was also from the future, then how did she know her?
