However much she tried, she simply couldn’t understand what that man was thinking.
Clearly, much of what she knew was taught by him, yet she simply couldn’t keep up with his thoughts, which left her feeling very defeated.

For some reason, ever since she was young, her nose was prone to bleeding.
Sometimes just a minor bump could make it bleed, so people often teased her, saying her nose was made of tofu and would break easily.

"Are you afraid people will say you’re trying to seduce me?" The man lightly stroked her nose tip with his thumb.
Indeed, it was quite a bump; her nose tip was red, looking very cute under the light.
"Mentor, please have some self-respect." Chu Xiaoqiao’s face turned crimson. This flirt was shameless. How could such intimate actions be done casually?

Seeing she didn’t want to discuss further, he didn’t force her.
"Oh." Chu Xiaoqiao’s heart skipped a beat, absentmindedly responding with a single word.
"Watch closely, make sure you don’t bump into anything again." The man glanced at her before opening the door, gesturing for her to follow him inside.
This was one of their bases; they were working for the higher-ups, and of course, they had to do it well.
In many situations, they couldn’t do much more beyond what was required, but as long as it wasn’t illegal, they had privileges to handle some matters.
