“Wow, that’s impressive! Is there a Deputy Director as young as you?” Qin Xue asked, rembering that Xie Jun, was older than him, making Chu Molin possibly the youngest Deputy Director if he took the role.
“You’re looking at one right now.” Chu Molin chuckled, wondering what she was getting at. He had already told her that he was appointed as Deputy Director, yet she still asked. Must be intentional.
“Yeah, what an honor, I’m going to be the wife of a Director soon.” Qin Xue chuckled and said teasingly.
“I’ll make you a higher-ranked official’s wife in the future,” Chu Molin replied, looking at his sowhat ambitious wife. He had never t anyone who could express their desires so boldly.
“Great, rember you’ve promised. Don’t break your words,” Qin Xue responded, believing that a person with goals would always have motivation, so she didn’t deny his promise.
“I said it, and I’ll stick to my word. I want to make my wife the happiest woman in the world.” The words rolled effortlessly off Chu Molin’s tongue.
“Did you have honey today? Your words are so sweet.” Qin Xue laughed and teased him.
“Indeed, the honey was sweet and delicious.” Chu Molin replied, his gaze fixed on his wife’s moving lips.
Qin Xue noticed his gaze. Oh well, typical n, always straying towards that subject, no matter what you talked about. So, there were tis when she really didn’t know how to continue a conversation with him.
“Wow, it slls so good!” Said Qin Xue, sniffing the air. Just then, the waiter brought over the food they had ordered.
