Qin Xue felt like punching soone, didn’t she? She had agreed to co and view the house, but what’s the point if they don’t even bring the keys?
“An Hao, you can’t be ssing with , can you?” Qin Xue playfully kicked her.
“Not at all, I genuinely forgot, ha ha, don’t get mad, how about this? Co to my house for a bit, after I fetch the keys, we can co back here to look at the house.” An Hao hit upon an idea.
“I think you’re doing it on purpose! Why didn’t you say you didn’t have the keys while we were at ho? I’m standing here empty-handed with my child, and you want to go to your house, is that how a guest should look?” Qin xue looked at An Hao and refused to believe that she wasn’t doing this intentionally.
“Qin Xue, I swear I’m not lying to you. I only realized at the door that I had forgotten. I really didn’t do it on purpose, okay?” An Hao felt quite indignant. She had no idea she should keep track of these things. After all, she never had to worry about them at ho.
“Fine, I’ll trust you, okay? But really, it’s not nice coming to your place empty-handed. How about this, we go to a shop nearby to buy sothing then we go to your house, and just consider that I’m acquainting myself with the route, what do you think?” Qin Xue asked An Hao.
“Sure, that’s up to you. Actually, it’s not a big deal if you don’t bring anything, we’re not particular about these traditional courtesies.” An Hao casually replied.
“An Hao, it’s not about whether your family cares or not, rather, it’s that it’s not polite for to arrive for the first ti empty-handed. Your family may not care, but what about others? What would they think of ? What’s more, if they find out I’m Chu Molin’s wife, wouldn’t that embarrass him?” Qin Xue just couldn’t bring herself to go over as a guest empty-handed.
“Alright, let’s go shopping then. Qin Xue, I don’t want to hide it from you. It’s possible that you may run into Molin’s family in the large courtyard. You need to be psychologically prepared.” An Hao felt it necessary to warn Qin Xue ahead of ti. Otherwise, she might think it was done intentionally, and An Hao would feel even more wronged.
“That’s not an issue. They won’t recognize , apart from Xiaoqiao and Grandma.” For Qin Xue, it didn’t matter much. As the saying goes, even an ugly daughter-in-law has to et her in-laws. Not to ntion, she’s not ugly, and besides, she’s going to An Hao’s house as a guest today, not to confirm familial relations, so what’s there to be afraid of?
“As long as you’re aware, that’s fine. I just wanted to give you a heads up.” An Hao knew that Qin Xue wasn’t one to shy away from trouble and also had a good sense of propriety.
“Don’t worry, I won’t bla you. No matter what it is, you always have to face it.” Qin Xue had an open and accepting outlook towards life.
“So, Sister-in-law, should I invite Grandma over to see you later? She’s been talking about you and the great-grandchild for so many tis.” Chu Xiaoqiao rembered that after they went back that day, Grandma argued with Grandpa for a long ti, neither of them willing to back down. But Grandpa would not let grandma step out of the house, so she could only sit at ho, constantly chanting about her daughter-in-law and great-grandchild. Now that sister-in-law is coming to the compound, Grandma can see the people she wants to see without even having to leave the compound. How nice is that!
“As you wish, I don’t mind either way.” Qin Xue kinda missed the old lady who were so caring towards her. So she didn’t object to Chu Xiaoqiao’s suggestion.
“Grandma will be so pleased to hear this.” Chu Xiaoqiao could already imagine her grandma’s expression when she found out Sister-in-law was coming to the compound.
“Enough talking, let’s get moving. Let’s go shopping, why are you standing there like a stump?” Qin Xue looked at the two people in front of her who were standing still and said helplessly.
“Alright, let’s go. Sister-in-law, what do you want to buy?” Chu Xiaoqiao asked Qin Xue.
“Shouldn’t you be the one to tell ? Especially you, An Hao, what do your family mbers like?” Qin Xue looked at An Hao and asked.
