Chapter 768: Chapter 762: Encountering Chu Yeting
Chu Molin and Qin Xue were blatantly showing their affection, which made Li Zhao’s heart itch. He tightly held An Hao’s hand and refused to let go, thinking that if his older brother could do it, so could he.
“Linlin, is that you?” An excited voice rang out.
Upon hearing the voice, Chu Molin paused. Qin Xue turned to look at the source of the sound, where there was a man who looked a little like Chu Molin, staring at them excitedly.
Qin Xue saw that Chu Molin didn’t say anything and also remained silent, looking at him as if waiting for his cue to respond to the man.
“Let’s go, Xue’er,” Chu Molin said to Qin Xue without addressing the man.
“Oh, alright.” Qin Xue was surprised and confused about the situation.
“Linlin, would you not even speak to your father?” Chu Yeting couldn’t believe his son would hate him so much. They hadn’t seen each other for so many years, yet his son wouldn’t even say a word to him.
“You’ve mistaken for soone else,” Chu Molin said, glancing at Chu Yeting before walking away, hand in hand with Qin Xue. Li Zhao and An Hao imdiately followed suit.
Chu Yeting stood there watching his son walk away, in pain. He ran his fingers through his hair, thinking about Xinya. So things were just too difficult for him to say.
Chu Yeting turned in a different direction and went ho, wondering when his troubles would ever be resolved.
As he approached the front door, Chu Yeting heard laughter from inside, and he was surprised since it had been a long ti since there was so much laughter in the house.
As soon as he entered, Chu Yeting saw his parents each holding a child, smiling happily, while his daughter sat nearby watching them. Chu Xiaoqiao had co ho because she felt like a third wheel amongst all the couples. She didn’t want to be the odd one out, so she went straight ho, which was why Chu Yeting saw her there when he ca back.
“Dad, Mom, where did these kids co from?” Chu Yeting asked, looking at the children in his parents’ hands.
“You’re back. Co take a look at Linlin’s children, aren’t they adorable?” Miao Qingqing asked her son.
“These are Linlin’s children?” Chu Yeting asked in disbelief.
“Yes, look, don’t they resemble him?” Miao Qingqing held the child up to Chu Yeting and asked him his opinion.
“Yes, they really look alike and are so wonderful,” Chu Yeting murmured.
“Yes, they really are,” Miao Qingqing echoed.
“I just saw Linlin holding a woman’s hand. Is she his wife?” Chu Yeting suddenly rembered a piece of information he had overlooked earlier.
“Yes, you must have bumped into them. Did you talk to them?” Miao Qingqing asked.
“I called out to him, but he still ignored ,” Chu Yeting helplessly replied, unsure how to explain things to his son.
“Qin Xue is a good girl; she will help Linlin,” Miao Qingqing said. Qin Xue was indeed a good girl. Wasn’t it in their ho where Linlin had first opened up and called her ‘Grandma’? Miao Qingqing believed that Qin Xue would certainly help Linlin overco his issues. Eventually, their family would be reunited.
“Dad, what are you talking about?” Chu Xiaoqiao asked her father, puzzled.
“Nothing. Why didn’t you go out and have fun today?” Chu Yeting looked at his daughter.
“My older brother and sister-in-law are together, Li Zhao and An Hao are together, what am I supposed to do in the middle of all that?” Chu Xiaoqiao grumbled.
“You know that people get together as couples, so why haven’t you found soone for yourself?” Chu Yi entered the house and heard his sister’s words. He hadn’t realized whom his sister was talking about.
“Second brother, you’re older than , and you haven’t found anyone either. Why should I be the one to find soone and get married first?” Chu Xiaoqiao was furious when she heard her brother’s words.
“Second brother? Why aren’t you calling just ‘brother’ now? Also, who were you talking about earlier with the older brother thing?” Chu Yi asked his sister.
