“Alright, I’ll have soone take you ho.” Qing Teng picked up the veil that had been set aside, put it on, and opened the door.
“Xiao Chen, take Miss Qin ho. Rember, Miss Qin is like my sister now. If you see her in the future, you can’t be rude to her, do you understand?” Qing Teng instructed the big man standing not too far away.
“Understood, Vice Leader. I’ll take Miss Qin ho now,” replied Xiao Chen, who was the big man, after hearing Qing Teng’s words.
“Good, be careful,” said Qing Teng.
“Miss Qin, let’s go. I’ll take you ho,” Xiao Chen nodded after hearing Qing Teng’s words, and then said to Qin Xue.
“Okay, thank you,” Qin Xue acknowledged to the big man known as Xiao Chen.
Qin Xue left with Xiao Chen, not knowing that the man of her house was anxious. Chu Molin only learned her wife had been taken away when he ca back ho.
“What did you say, Xue Ling? How could Xue’er be taken away? What happened?” Chu Molin asked Xue Ling.
“It was when we were about to go ho that we were intercepted by a group of people…” Xue Ling told Chu Molin everything that happened after he left.
“That stupid woman, doesn’t she know how dangerous this is? What if sothing happens?” Chu Molin expressed deep regret. He chastised himself, asking why he didn’t accompany his wife and child ho. This wouldn’t have happened if he had been there.
“Master, as your maid, I think you’re right. She won’t have any issue. Didn’t you forget she has that space ability? If anything happens, she can escape into it. Who could find her once she was inside it, aside from herself? So, you really don’t need to worry so much. Maybe she’s already back,” Xue Ling reassured a guilty Chu Molin.
“Xue Ling, stay here and look after the child. I’ll go out and take a look,” Chu Molin replied. Although he felt what she said made sense, he still couldn’t help worrying. He believed it was better for him to go out and investigate who had the audacity to harm and abduct people in the Imperial Capital.
“Master, she told you to wait here. If you leave and she cos back, how should I explain to her?” Xue Ling admonished Chu Molin, who was eager to go out in search of his wife, as it was unclear where she had been taken.
Chu Molin ignored Xue Ling, grabbed the keys on the side, and prepared to leave. He was determined to find his wife.
“Chu Molin, where are you going?” Qin Xue rounded the corner and saw Chu Molin getting ready to go. So she shouted out.
“Xue’er, you’re back.” Chu Molin heard Qin Xue’s voice and turned, a joyful expression on his face. Within a few steps, he reached Qin Xue and pulled her into his arms.
“Eh, Chu Molin, you’re suffocating .” Qin Xue struggled to push Chu Molin away. Was he trying to murder her?
Chu Molin let go of Qin Xue after hearing her words. He then inspected her from head to toe, relieved to see she was unhard. His eyes then scanned behind her to find no one there. Had she returned alone? Wasn’t she taken away by a group of people?
“Let’s talk inside,” Qin Xue suggested, holding Chu Molin’s hand after noticing his actions.
“Okay, let’s go ho.” Chu Molin sighed with relief upon seeing Qin Xue.
“Xue’er, tell what happened. Who took you away?” Chu Molin asked, leading Qin Xue to sit down in the living room.
