“Okay, thank you.” Qin Xue took the notebook handed to her and began registering. After she finished, she handed back the notebook to the guard and entered the security booth to wait for Chu Molin to finish class.

“Xue’er, how co you’re here?” Chu Molin looked at the woman standing at the entrance, her face beaming with joy while looking at him. He felt his heart soften, happiness blooming inside him like he had just eaten honey.
“I ca to see what your school looks like.” Qin Xue smiled at the man standing before her.
“Have you eaten yet? Co, let’s go eat.” Chu Molin looked at his wife, surprised that she had co at this hour; she must be famished.
Chu Molin didn’t understand why he assud that Qin Xue ca to see him at this ti just to have a al. Did they run out of food at ho?
“I ca to bring you food, not to freeload a al.” Qin Xue said, looking at him in disbelief.
“What food did you bring?” Chu Molin was curious about what delicious al she had prepared for him this ti.
“Hehe, I bet you can’t guess. I’m sure you’ve never had it before. Sniff it, doesn’t it sll great?” Qin Xue ignored how Chu Molin would react and imdiately opened the bag for him to see.
All Chu Molin saw was a seemingly round object, but before he could see clearly, Qin Xue had already closed the bag.
“Chu Molin, give these two jars of at to those two people. There’s enough for you here.” Qin Xue handed over two jars of at sauce to Chu Molin.
Why did Qin Xue ask Chu Molin to deliver the food instead of doing it herself? There was a reason for it. If she, an ordinary citizen, presented the food to them, they would typically refuse. But since Chu Molin was part of the academy, the offering beca friendly gestures, which they would accept. This was a difference between her and her husband.
