“Good morning, big brother.” The mont Jing Yuan saw her elder brother, the smile on her face was so dazzling it could blind soone.
“Yuanyuan, why are you here so early? Has sothing happened?” Jing Xin was surprised that his sister was visiting their ho this early. But looking at her cheerful face, it didn’t seem like sothing had happened. So, why was she here so early?
“Nothing really, I just thought the nephew was really adorable when I ca to see my sister-in-law the other day. I quite like him, so I decided to co over today. I just didn’t expect you to be at ho, big brother,” Jing Yuan explained cheerfully. Her words were flawless, so Jing Xin trusted her. After all, he had always doted on his little sister since childhood. How could he doubt her intentions?
“Go ahead, take a seat. Your sister-in-law is still in bed. Please be quiet so you don’t wake her and the baby,” Jing Xin cautioned Jing Yuan.
“Big brother, in that case, I’d better not go in. I’ll just watch you cook here. It wouldn’t be right if I were to accidentally wake up my sister-in-law. Don’t you think so?” Jing Yuan clenched her teeth in anger upon hearing Jing Xin’s words, but her expression didn’t change.
It goes without saying that Jing Yuan’s scheming nature had deepened. At such a young age, she already had such a calculating mind. It’s not hard to imagine what kind of person she would beco in a few years. She might even beco a real manipulator.

“Alright, then. You can wait here. I’ll go make breakfast. Have you eaten?” Jing Xin asked Jing Yuan.
“Not yet. I planned to have breakfast with my sister-in-law, that’s why I ca so early.” Jing Yuan actually ca early to catch Jing Xin alone. She knew that soldiers like him woke up early for training, so an early visit would ensure she found him and not her sister-in-law. She didn’t expect him to be cooking though.
“Alright, I’ll prepare more then,” Jing Xin smiled and added more rice to the pot.
Jing Yuan laughed sweetly, sitting by and watching Jing Xin cook while conversing casually with him.
Fang Xiu woke up to see her husband and sister-in-law laughing and chatting, getting along really well. She didn’t expect Jing Yuan to show up at her ho so early in the morning. She felt as if she had swallowed a fly.
Ever since she found out that Jing Yuan had feelings for her husband, she had been particularly unwilling to see Jing Yuan, let alone allow her to interact with her husband.
“You’re up pretty early, sister-in-law,” Fang Xiu smiled, though she didn’t really want to engage in conversation.
“Sister-in-law, you’re so lucky to have a husband like my big brother who dotes on you,” Jing Yuan said sarcastically, glaring at Fang Xiu viciously when Jing Xin wasn’t looking.
“Now, listen here, having my husband at ho doesn’t an I should get up late. In fact, when he wasn’t around, I never relied on him,” Fang Xiu retorted angrily. She didn’t want to live a life swallowing her anger anymore. If Jing Xin was upset by her words, then so be it.
“Xiuxiu, you’re up,” Jing Xin responded cheerfully, ignoring her previous remark. Her frustration was already noted in his heart. He felt guilty hearing her say such things, but it was unnecessary to discuss it in front of Jing Yuan.
“Hmm,” Fang Xiu responded indifferently.
Jing Xin scratched his nose, unsure of why his wife was mad at him. He turned back to fetch his wife so hot water for washing her face.
“Xiuxiu, co, freshen up. After that, we can eat,” Jing Xin said to Fang Xiu as he handed her the basin of water, smiling.
“Sure.” Fang Xiu watched Jing Xin, wondering whether he was truly oblivious or just pretending. Couldn’t he see that soone was openly provoking her at her own doorstep?
