“I won’t rest yet, I’ll do more to help you. The shop’s opening is just around the corner, and you won’t be able to handle it all on your own. I’ll find soone to help you, once you’re done with the shop work, you can pass it on to him. Then you can help An Hao, learn more, and when you’re ready, you can pick work that suits your preferences.” Qin Xue didn’t insist that Chu Xiaoqiao had to stick to running the pickle shop for the rest of her life.
She is a young girl, not yet mature. The more she experiences, the better she can identify what field she is suitable for. And that will be helpful for Qin Xue to guide her.
“Sister-in-law, I’m okay just looking after the shop. If I do more, I’m afraid I can’t handle it.” Chu Xiaoqiao didn’t realize before how busy one could get each day. “You silly girl, so people want to learn but I won’t teach them, while you, who have the opportunity, are complaining about how tireso it is. Just do as I say in the future. You’re still young, and it won’t hurt to learn more.” It wasn’t hard for Qin Xue to guess Chu Xiaoqiao’s thoughts. But considering that she was Molin’s sister is why she was demanding more from her.

“Xue’er, I’m ho.” Chu Molin called out to his wife as soon as he returned.
“Big brother.” Chu Xiaoqiao was the first to hear him and ca out to greet him.
“Hmm, where’s your sister-in-law?” Chu Molin, no longer treating Chu Xiaoqiao with such resentnt, actually engaged her in conversation.
“She took Taotao and the children out for a stroll with Fang Xiu. Do you need to see her now or will you wait for her to co back, big brother?” Chu Xiaoqiao asked Chu Molin. If he wanted to find her right now, Chu Xiaoqiao could go out and look for her.
“I can wait for her. Is there anything to eat?” Upon hearing that Fang Xiu was here, he knew that they’d return after their walk.
“Yes, you go freshen up first, I’ll set the table.” Chu Xiaoqiao was overjoyed by the unexpected amount of interaction with her brother.
“Alright, thank you.” Chu Molin went into his room to put away his hat and belt before coming out to wash his hands and eat. They had gone for a training camp today and returned early. He had received a telegram from Jing Xin yesterday which he’d had no ti to reply to, so when he got back, he wanted to ask Qin Xue whether she knew where Fang Xiu was. Now knowing she was here, he didn’t need to ask anymore. As long as she was safe, that was all that mattered.
“Big brother, Fang Xiu cannot speak anymore. Sister-in-law told us not to ask her the reason, so I am telling you in advance.” Chu Xiaoqiao rembered Qin Xue’s instructions and chose to remind her brother.
