Chapter 980: Chapter 974: Disagreent_1
The couple entered the room to see their daughter cradling Yu Ze and whispering sothing to him, while Jingtao was playing with building blocks with Yu Chen. Fang Xiu was just watching them off to the side, the parents were nowhere to be seen.
“Lele, where are mom and dad?” Qin Xue asked, wondering where they could be at this ti.
“Taking a shower.” Qin Jiale replied without even lifting his head, then went back to whispering to Yu Ze. Qin Xue was curious about their conversation, so she quietly snuck up to listen.
“Yu Ze, think about it, co follow auntie and I’ll give you delicious food, okay? Can you give an answer?” Qin Jiale implored Yu Ze, hoping for a nod of agreent.
“Gaga” Yu Ze didn’t reply to Qin Jiale. Instead, upon seeing Qin Xue, he chuckled at her.
“You cheeky boy, you, why won’t you agree to sleep with your auntie?” Qin Jiale was frazzled. She had seen him and Jingtao conversing in baby talk, which she didn’t understand, yet they seed to enjoy it imnsely. So, she thought of bringing him to her room to play, but no matter what she said, he just wouldn’t nod in agreent. Without his nod, she certainly did not dare to force him.
So, there was this rather amusing scene of a young girl trying to negotiate with a baby. Seeing this, Qin Xue couldn’t help but burst into laughter. Her eldest son was popular wherever he went. Despite being twins and looking exactly alike, he was still the more popular one, and she had no idea why that was so.
Yu Ze looked at Qin Xue laughing, then reached out for her to hold him. This incensed Qin Jiale, who felt that her persisting efforts were less effective than her mother’s re smile. She couldn’t help but feel defeated.
“Sis, your son is really sothing, he won’t even nod when I ask him to sleep with for one night.” Qin Jiale felt like cursing.
“He’s so young, how would he understand what nodding ans? If you want him to sleep with you, just pick him up and go. But let tell you, he gets up to pee at night and needs to be fed. As long as you’re willing to put up with this, you can take him to your room tonight. Xue Ling can sleep in our room then.” Qin Xue replied.
In Qin Xue’s room, Nangong Shulan and Qin Lei had installed a small bed so that their family of four could live together. Now that Qin Jiale wanted to take the eldest son away, they could just let Xue Ling continue staying in their room. It would be better for the baby that way, so this arrangent seed like a decent solution.
Chu Molin sat quietly watching the two children playing with building blocks, not wanting to disturb them. Nonetheless, he kept an eye on his wife from the corner of his eye.
“Great, I’ll sleep with this little one tonight, and Xue Ling can sleep with you.” Upon hearing this, Qin Jiale was elated. She was intrigued by the intelligence of the little one and wanted to know how he had learned to babble to Jingtao. Although she couldn’t understand what they were saying, seeing Jingtao nodding continuously aroused her curiosity.
“No problem.” Qin Xue smiled and reached out to hold her son who was also reaching out to her, and thus Yu Ze was handed over to his aunt.
But Yu Ze didn’t say anything. He didn’t care, not sleeping with his parents was a good thing. It would spare him any unwelco surprises. So, Qin Jiale’s decision was actually quite agreeable to him.
Seeing the laughter flashing in his son’s eyes, Chu Molin wondered what the little guy was planning.
“Chu Molin, hold your son, I’m going to curl my hair.” Having handed her son over to his father, Qin Xue left them to their own devices. She was usually the one taking care of the children at ho, so now that the father was at ho, it was naturally his turn to do so. It was important to balance things out, after all.
“Son, what were you telling your aunt and your mom that made you so happy?” Chu Molin looked at his son in his arms and asked.
