Pan Ge was deeply uneasy about Han Lie and Xi Luting getting a room together, so she voiced strong opposition. But it was useless. The hotel was right outside the exhibition hall. Han Lie got a room, and Xi Luting followed him in. If Pan Ge disagreed, what could she do? Who could she stop? All she could do was follow them, fuming.
Her original plan was to supervise them personally. She thought that with her present, Xi Luting and Han Lie would at least show so restraint. But the "holy warrior" didn’t play along at all, putting on quite a show right in front of her.

However, Xi Luting, who had truly let herself go, was really too much. Her wild words filled the room, making Pan Ge feel both angry and flustered. After a short while, sothing in Pan Ge’s mind snapped. The more she thought about it, the more suffocated she felt, until she finally stord in. SLAP! She struck Xi Luting hard across the face.
That really stirred up a hornet’s nest. Xi Luting flipped over and imdiately pinned her down. THWACK! BAM! CRASH!
"Help!" Pan Ge cried. She wanted to ask Han Lie for help... Sorry, wishful thinking. Han Lie didn’t intervene. Instead, he stealthily stirred up trouble, making things even worse for her.
And later... so people were still alive, but she felt like she was already dead. The poor girl, already a pushover, was now utterly crushed. Sprawled on the bed with a face full of despair, her gaze was empty and hollow. She couldn’t handle Han Lie alone, let alone with Xi Luting joining in... Tragic!
Then she suddenly realized an extrely important issue: Xi Luting wasn’t as easy to handle as she had imagined. "Have you no sha?" Pan Ge demanded.
She tried to provoke Xi Luting, but Xi Luting only grew smugger. "Sha? Why would I need that? When I was chasing you, I threw all my sha away."
"You!" Pan Ge was choked with anger. She suddenly turned her head towards Han Lie, her eyes welling up with tears.
Good heavens, those two really did complent each other... Han Lie found it incredibly amusing. Pan Ge was cunning, ruthless, and an astonishing actress, but she cared imnsely about her reputation. Xi Luting was shaless and ruthless enough to take on anyone, but she wasn’t very smart, and her acting was terrible. Together, they... calling them a villainous duo might be an exaggeration, but they certainly were a peculiar match. So... I have to sabotage this like crazy. I absolutely cannot let them team up. If they really started getting along, I’d be the one to suffer...
"I think the current situation between you two is quite good. You’re keeping each other in check, so neither can bully the other," Han Lie interjected with a jovial smile. He sounded impartial, but he was actually fanning the flas and creating opposition.
But in reality, Han Lie didn’t even need to say anything. In the short term, there was no way those two would be at peace. Who would be satisfied with the current situation anyway? It was all an unintended consequence, a ss they were forced into. They’d fight if given a chance, and they’d still be at odds even without one.
"Hmph!" Pan Ge scoffed, turning her attack on Han Lie. "Don’t look so pleased with yourself. When I get ho today, I’m going to confess everything to my parents. I’ll tell them I’ll marry no one but you, but that you’re two-timing !"
Her threat was interesting—not overtly sharp, yet very direct. Pan Ge was too smart. She knew that threatening Han Lie by saying, "I’ll tell my dad to pull his investnt," was pointless, so she didn’t ntion money at all. Because Han Lie’s actual trading performance was outstanding, he wasn’t the type of man who needed to rely on his father-in-law. Without Pan Shengwu’s support and help, Han Lie could still succeed, though it would be slower and more difficult. Pan Ge knew this well, so she would never truly anger Han Lie. Instead, she bound Han Lie with emotions. A simple "I will marry no one but you" turned the conflict into an internal matter, concerning only feelings and nothing else.
