As for major client lectures, only those held by banks were worth attending. Whether one could attract business or make a na for oneself was secondary; the main point was the frequent, unexpected surprises. If soone perford exceptionally well, they were bound to catch the eye of a wealthy older woman, or have older folks eagerly introducing their daughters or nieces. Seriously, that was no exaggeration. As handso as Han Lie was now, a romantic encounter could happen on the very sa day.
Private banking clients at banks were a diverse group: ornantal mistresses with little personal ability, unoccupied housewives, older unmarried daughters from local wealthy families, beautiful and capable elite won who had studied abroad, internal private banking client managers from the banks themselves... Encountering any of them could easily pique their curiosity and desire to share.
So, what were the chances of encountering them? In April 2015, the SPD Bank’s Xuhui branch hosted a relatively small private banking client wealth managent training seminar. The professional qualification certificate was easy to obtain, and Han Lie was already preparing for it. However, the investnt advisor qualification was much harder to get, and he was far from eting the stringent requirents.
Han Lie didn’t take it seriously, but Director Che was thrilled. "Han Lie, Tencent seems quite sincere. What are your thoughts?"

Appearing on television programs held little significance for Han Lie, but for the university, the benefits were imnse.

Director Che didn’t give up. "The leadership is willing to create all sorts of favorable conditions for you: things like completing your credits early, graduating ahead of schedule, studying abroad at the university’s expense, even a reserved faculty position here... It’s all on the table."
A smile that wasn’t quite a smile played on Han Lie’s lips. "Do you really think any of those things appeal to ?"
"Er..." Director Che shook his head with a wry smile, his face crinkling. Even disregarding Han Lie’s abilities, just considering his relationship with Pan Ge made all those promises aningless.
The world was just so disparate. The more soone lacked for nothing, the more they were offered, even if they neither needed nor cherished it. And life’s hardships? They were all heaped upon those who could endure them. Perhaps that was how the preciousness of good fortune and happiness was ant to be highlighted.
At this mont, Han Lie was playing the role of a chosen one, soone who had no need to accept the university’s ’benevolence.’
A comically distressed expression appeared on Director Che’s chubby face as he tried to salvage the dignity of his task. "If you have any requests or ideas, we can certainly discuss them!"
"We can discuss it later." Han Lie seed to relent, though it could also have been a delaying tactic, leaving Director Che utterly stumped.
"Well, you’ll at least participate in so promotional activities, won’t you?" Director Che pressed.
Han Lie hit F5, refreshing the page, and more than ten new emails imdiately appeared. As he scrolled through them, he replied nonchalantly, "What sort of promotional activities are we talking about?"
Director Che’s spirits lifted, and he deliberately raised his voice. "The main campus of Shanghai International Studies University plans to invite you to give a speech! Also, Fudan University’s School of Managent is interested and wants to invite you for a presentation..."
Hmm? Han Lie finally showed so interest. Give a presentation to those ’campus guardians’ and Ding Xianghua? That actually sounds kind of satisfying...
"Has the speech at our own university been confird? What’s the the?" Han Lie asked.
"It’s just an intention for now..." Director Che replied, his enthusiasm evident, though he remained discreet. "It might take a little ti, especially since there’s no precedent for sothing like this. But I think the chances are very high!"
That was true. It certainly wouldn’t sound very good for a student from an affiliated, private third-tier college to give a speech to the top students of the main university. Therefore, it was only natural for them to observe him further. If Han Lie could maintain his Raging Blast montum and keep his ranking, then this ’intention’ would eventually beco a reality. The better his results and the greater his achievents, the less pressure the main campus would feel. For now, though... he wasn’t quite there yet. One only needed to look at the dissenting voices on the forums to understand. Nothing concrete had even happened yet; just a few people hyping it up had already caused so much discomfort. One could only imagine the dissatisfaction and skepticism a real speech would face.
