Holly Winslow glanced at Zeke Zane. ’He’s so unlucky to have run into Mortir Quincy.’
Mortir Quincy’s mouth spared no one. Anyone with thinner skin would probably cut ties with him on the spot.

In her past life, Zeke Zane and the others had secretly co up with a saying for Mortir: "Mortir’s mouth, a murdering ghost."
They shortened it to "Quincy the Killer Ghost."
Her gaze fell on Mortir’s lips. The shape of his mouth was a bit more defined than average, and his lips were the perfect shade—not too red, not too pale.
’They really are "killer."’
’Ahem, no wonder I noticed his lips the very first year I t him.’
Later, when Mortir Quincy recalled this, he sumd her up in two words: "Total perv."
Mortir noticed her gaze. The corners of his long, narrow eyes lifted slightly. Then, he leaned down, completely ignoring the crowd around them, and said in his magnetic voice, "Go on, kiss ."
The sudden, flirty line was so shocking it left Holly Winslow completely stunned. "..."
The next second, a blush shot across her face, reaching the tips of her ears. She choked on her own saliva and turned her head, coughing a few tis.
Zeke Zane’s eyes were about to go blind. "..."

’Am I sick in the head? Why did I turn around to get more barbecue?’

After he left, Holly Winslow kicked Mortir’s leg and hissed through gritted teeth, "Can you please be a little more considerate in public!"
Mortir just raised an eyebrow, took her hand, and tucked it into his coat pocket. "We’re perfectly legal."

Because of Zeke Zane’s "dick move," Pantheon and Cynthia Owens had a "fight." It wasn’t really a fight, just Cynthia unilaterally giving him the silent treatnt.
It took Pantheon two days of cuddling and coaxing to get back into Cynthia’s good graces. But once he did, he didn’t forget to get back at Zeke Zane.
He decided to give him a taste of his own dicine.
He posted a photo from a few days ago when he and Zeke had pulled an all-nighter at an internet cafe: "Reminiscing about that all-nighter with my bro a couple days ago @Zeke Zane."
And then, Zeke Zane and Anna Willow got into a fight.
Anna unilaterally blocked Zeke. Before she did, she sent one last ssage: "Zeke Zane, you can go spend your life with your gas. Goodbye."
Unable to contact Anna, Zeke Zane furiously cursed out Pantheon in their high school dorm group chat: "You son of a bitch, you were the one who asked to play gas last week."
Pantheon replied smugly: "You started it, so don’t bla for retaliating. Now you get a taste of what it’s like to fight."
Zeke was so angry he wanted to kill Pantheon: "Who the hell started it? You’re the one who dragged out late at night just to watch Mortir and his girl’s PDA fest."
"You just wait. If I don’t fucking kill you, my last na isn’t Zane."
Pantheon wasn’t scared: "Bring it on, bring it on. I’d like to see you try."
Boris Owens: "Just quietly munching on my popcorn over here. Laughed out loud on my end."
Chase Hawkins: "Listen to the dogs bark, hahaha."
"I swear, why are you guys always fighting? Just look at Mortir and his girl, all over each other for years like it’s the first day, and the key is, they’re still not sick of it."
"Even I’m impressed."
When Pantheon and Zeke Zane saw that, it hit them where it hurt for so reason: "..."
They wanted to know why, too. Forgetting the fact that they weren’t sick of each other, they didn’t even fight. It was just unfair.
Paul Powell: "LMAO, hahahaha. Maybe it’s because Mortir and his girl are so good-looking. When they fight, they just take one look at each other and their anger disappears."
"At the end of the day, it’s because you two are too ugly. If it were Mortir, his girlfriend would probably be the one coaxing him, like, ’There there, don’t be mad.’"
Chase Hawkins imagined that scene and shivered in disgust: "BARF."
Boris Owens: "Barf-worthy, yes, but it’s the truth. You have to admit, among our group, Mortir has so serious status in his relationship."

Boris Owens: "Holy shit, how did I not know about sothing so huge? No wonder that guy went quiet after that."
"I was just thinking he was a coward."
Chase Hawkins: "You’d be a coward too. Rember that guy who had to do a self-criticism in front of the whole school? He lost all his points in the first week of school."
"Mortir loves to use his position for personal revenge. He’d deduct fifty points if he felt like it, and the key thing is, the dean of students would never suspect a thing."

Paul Powell: "His na is Shane Lester. He goes to the sa university as now. He’s a hot commodity in the foreign languages departnt. A lot of girls in the group chats are asking for his contact info."
He found a picture of Shane Lester and posted it in the chat: "He got way more handso since high school."
Boris Owens: "He really did get more handso. Does he have a girlfriend now?"
Paul Powell: "Nope."
Pantheon: "He still hasn’t given up on his girl. He’s probably waiting for the chance to... co from behind and take the lead."
Mortir, who had been silent the whole ti, suddenly sent a ssage: "Behind my ass."
Mortir tapped on Shane Lester’s photo, zooming in and in, then let out a disdainful "Heh." ’Not even one-tenth as good-looking as .’
After he suddenly dropped that curse, the lively group chat went silent for a few seconds.
Pantheon: "..."
Boris Owens: "Hahahaha, I’m dying. ’Behind my ass.’ Forrest, you’re so dead. Watch out for Mortir’s revenge."
Pantheon went silent.
Mortir deleted the chat history from the class group, not wanting Holly Winslow to see any ntion of this Shane Lester person.
What he didn’t expect was that Zeke Zane had taken a screenshot to cheer Anna Willow up.
After Anna found out, she told Holly about it: "Holly, isn’t Shane Lester your next-door neighbor?"
Holly Winslow was prepping for a class, so she only saw the ssage a few minutes later. She hadn’t heard the na "Shane Lester" in a long ti. She replied in confusion: "Yeah, what’s up?"
Anna Willow sent her the screenshot from Zeke: "Zeke just sent this. I’m dying. I can’t believe your handso cousin has this side to him."
Holly genuinely had no idea that bastard Mortir had sneakily deducted Shane Lester’s points. "..."
’It’s not surprising that Mortir would do sothing like that. It completely fits his character.’
Iris Kensington: "Shane Lester got handso? I always thought his features were quite nice. Ahem, I even had a little crush on him for a bit."
"Holly, are you two in touch?"
Holly Winslow thought about what Shane Lester looked like. ’Hm, that bastard Mortir is still more handso.’ "No, we haven’t been in touch since graduation."
Anna Willow replied with a mischievous tone: "Maybe he’s secretly keeping tabs on you."
Holly Winslow didn’t know whether to laugh or cry: "Girl, you’re overthinking it. Shane Lester and I are just neighbors."
Iris Kensington: "Holly, you’re underthinking it. I thought he liked you back in middle school. Otherwise, why would he let you copy his howork?"
Holly Winslow, who had lived for decades, was only now finding out what they thought. She was exasperated. It wasn’t her fault she’d never considered it; aside from playing together when they were little, she and Shane Lester barely had any contact as they grew up.
