It wasn’t that Kylie Walsh actually cared about Kevin Kent; she just found it disgusting that Lucy White was staying by Zane Simmons’s side!

Before Lucy White could speak, Paige Walsh cut in with a smile, "Oh, Lucy just moved in. She’ll be staying here with from now on."
Paige Walsh had just been chatting with Lucy White for a while. She felt it was sowhat inconvenient for Lucy to be living with the Simmons n, so she had asked Lucy to pack her things and move in here.
Upon hearing this, Kylie Walsh’s eyes widened in shock—

Paige Walsh and Kylie Walsh were second cousins. Their grandfathers were brothers, but Paige was about ten years older than Kylie, so they didn’t have much overlap in their lives and didn’t see each other often.
Kylie Walsh still hadn’t recovered from her shock. She didn’t understand why her cousin, who had always been so distant and aloof, would accept a complete stranger to live with her under the sa roof.
The mont she considered that Paige Walsh might have already accepted Lucy White as her daughter-in-law, Kylie felt a surge of rage rush to her head. ’I absolutely will not allow this to happen!’

"Enough! I don’t care what she used to do!" Paige Walsh cut her off before Kylie could finish.
As Kylie Walsh stared in stunned disbelief, Paige Walsh offered a faint smile and said slowly, "Kylie, Lucy is my goddaughter now, which also makes her your junior... I hope you’ll think carefully and not say things to a child that shouldn’t be said."
