The eastern side of Da Rong Island is flanked by a continuous range of tall mountains, so there’s no worry about Water Devils landing from that side. The western side is the coastal area where Water Devils are rare, so only the south and north sides need to be heavily guarded.

All the stronger clan mbers had been assigned to the south and north sides; only ten mid-stage Qi Cultivation clan mbers were with him on the west side.
