"What a pity!"
A deep voice sounded not far from Li Zhirui.
Startled, his face changed dramatically, and he imdiately cast a Defense Divine Ability on himself, simultaneously throwing several streaks of Spirit Light towards the source of the voice.
"No need to panic, young friend, I an no harm." The newcor easily brushed away Li Zhirui’s attack, his expression calm as he spoke.
It was only then that Li Zhirui realized the newcor was an Earth Immortal, soone whose power vastly exceeded his own.
Realizing the situation, he decided to heed the advice and refrain from further action, as the disparity in strength was enormous—there was no way he could be a match, and even if he used all his skills, he couldn’t harm the opponent.
Similarly, if this person intended harm, they would have acted long ago; Li Zhirui hadn’t even detected the person’s presence before they spoke.
"Greetings, senior."
Li Zhirui greeted respectfully, without revealing his family background, while secretly connecting with the space, ready to escape there at the first sign of danger.
"Hmm, quite polite indeed."
The Earth Immortal smiled, suddenly asking, "Who do you think will win this great war? If you guess correctly, I’ll grant you a chance of fortuitous encounter."
"The Immortal Tao and Divine Path." Li Zhirui replied without the slightest hesitation.
It wasn’t for the chance of fortuitous encounter; he simply dared not slight an Earth Immortal.
Although the current battlefield situation was evenly matched between the two great alliances, ultimately, it was the Immortal Tao’s ho ground. Moreover, the Demonic Tao, Devil Race, and Sea Clan each harbored ulterior motives, unable to sincerely collaborate!
The fact they could hold their ground was just due to their slightly superior strength. If this advantage were broken or another weakness discovered, the alliance would collapse.
"Your answer is not entirely wrong, but it’s not entirely right either."
The Earth Immortal smiled and shook his head, reminding, "Have you forgotten that there are other factions in the Primal Spirit Realm?"
"The Human Dao?"
It was the only answer he could think of at the mont.
"There’s another one you’ve encountered before: the Ghost Clan!"
Hearing this, Li Zhirui was astonished. He indeed had seen the Ghost Clan, but how did this great ability know about it?
"Hahaha, I am of the Ghost Clan, so how wouldn’t I know you’ve encountered my newly erged clansn?"
The Ghost Clan Earth Immortal looked at Li Zhirui with a half-smile, saying, "If you hadn’t harbored goodwill and spared my clansn back then, you wouldn’t be standing here having this conversation with today."
Li Zhirui gave an awkward smile. He hadn’t acted out of goodwill back then; it was out of concern for a larger plot, making him hesitate to act.
Unexpectedly, that caution saved his life.
"The Ghost Clan has actually existed since ancient tis, but problems in the Netherworld led to the complete blockade of the Yin Yang realm boundaries, causing the Ghost Clan to vanish from the outside world."
The Earth Immortal seed to be talking to himself, yet explaining to Li Zhirui, "But with the advent of the Divine Path, establishing the Heavenly Court and harmonizing Yin and Yang realms, the Ghost Clan, which had stayed in the Netherworld for countless years, could enter the Yang Realm again."
"anwhile, the Yin God lineage is about to reerge, currently the most powerful among the Divine Lineage, far surpassing the Star God and Water God."
"However, when the Divine Path established the Heavenly Court, knowing of the Yin God’s existence, not a single one of the Six Great Emperor Venerables is a Yin God. At that ti, the Heavenly Court and Divine Path will once again be thrown into chaos."
"Senior! May I know the purpose of telling all this?" Li Zhirui wasted no ti, seizing a montary gap to ask.
"Indeed, there is a request; not for personally, but for the entire Ghost Clan."
Li Zhirui was shocked at heart; the entire Ghost Clan? From his previous words, it wasn’t hard to infer that the Ghost Clan’s heritage was by no ans inferior to the current major factions!
Such a terrifying, powerful force actually had sothing to request from him, a re Individual Immortal!? It sounded incredible.
"Taiyin and Sun, the two Star Gods are your descendants, so I’d like to trouble you to contact them, asking them to leave the Yin Moon and Yin Sun in the Netherworld, perfecting it for the benefit of the Ghost Clan."
"As long as the two Star Gods are willing, they will be the most esteed guests of my Ghost Clan in the future, and we will also bestow the Li family with an extraordinary opportunity."
The Earth Immortal softly said, "Would you not want to know what kind of legacy is hidden in the relics the Cave Abyss Sect found? Our Ghost Clan can also reveal it."
"A thod to break through to Heavenly Immortal?"
"Exactly!"
The Ghost Clan Earth Immortal chuckled softly, saying, "This thod was actually created in ancient tis, but back then, the Spiritual Energy was abundant, and the world was in rapid developnt. Breaking through to Heavenly Immortal and transcending the Primal Spirit Realm, while difficult, was not impossible, so the thod wasn’t valued at the ti."
"However, with the developnt and expansion of various Dao paths, the excessive extraction from the world led to the gradual thinning of Spiritual Energy, making the barriers to transcendence more nurous, the difficulty greatly increased, resulting in fewer and fewer beings reaching transcendence, until none remained!"
"Additionally, the Earth Immortals back then, in their fight for transcendence, exploration, and pursuit of more profound and mysterious Great Tao, ignited a world-encompassing war where the thod was lost, and the complete division of the Yin Yang realms also happened at that ti."
"But ironically, my Ghost Clan and the Yin God lineage benefitted from the disaster, and still preserve this thod!"
Saying this, a bitter smile appeared on his face.
It appeared that the war back then hadn’t left the Ghost Clan unscathed; it might have been very severe.
If not, the Ghost Clan Li Zhirui previously encountered shouldn’t have all been newly erged ghosts below the Mortal Realm, and if the Ghost Clan truly had accumulated and settled for so many years, they should have made a grand entrance like the Divine Path, announcing themselves to the world.
