Capítulo 1848: Chapter 1393: Seeking Death

A distance of hundreds of miles is but a mont’s journey for Li Zhirui.

Indeed, as the Clan Leader ntioned, this area is ho to a Solitary Peak that pierces the Tianming, resembling a long sword.

Ordinarily, one might only marvel at the handiwork of nature, but shortly after, he witnessed a Sword Qi seemingly birthed from thin air, launching skyward from the mountain.

In terms of feeling, the Sword Qi’s power wasn’t particularly strong, perhaps comparable to that of a Divine Transformation Sword Cultivator.

This mountain, lacking in rich Spiritual Energy and devoid of anything extraordinary, yet possessing such an exceptional phenonon, truly astonishes.

“Interesting!”

A glint of intelligence flashed in Li Zhirui’s eyes as he approached, using his Divine Sense to probe both inside and outside the mountain, trying to uncover the source of the Sword Qi.

After a long ti, he slowly opened his eyes and withdrew his Divine Sense, finding no anomalies or peculiarities; it seed just an ordinarily shaped mountain.

This result was not unexpected for him.

Sword Mountain had existed here for countless years, and the Ten Thousand Spirits Alliance, with its long-standing and powerful Heavenly Immortals, had no doubt explored it, yet failed to find any answers.

Had they found the answer, they wouldn’t have left Sword Mountain exposed in the wilderness; they would have concealed it, keeping it safe.

With those figures having found nothing over the years, on what basis could Li Zhirui assure himself he could unravel the secret?

Though confident in his own strength, he dared not underestimate any Heavenly Immortal, especially those ancient ones who’ve lived countless years!

“The Great Thousand World is full of wonders!” Looking at this Solitary Peak, he couldn’t help but sigh.

As Li Zhirui continued his search, another Sword Qi sliced into the sky, significantly stronger than the previous one.

“Could it be that this Sword Qi is constantly growing stronger?”

His eyes shone with curiosity, eager to uncover the reason behind these mysterious occurrences.

With nothing else pressing, Li Zhirui decided to linger here a while longer, delving deeper, though without much hope within.

Every hour, the mountain released a Sword Qi whose power steadily increased from Divine Transformation Sword Cultivator levels to that matching Mahayana Sword Cultivator, reflecting a vast range, yet in a seemingly endless cycle.

Patiently, he awaited the mont of the Sword Qi’s ergence, attempting to discern its origin, but he found nothing, as if it truly appeared from nowhere.

This led Li Zhirui to doubt his speculation of a special Secret Realm being there.

Having researched for several days without discovery, he planned to leave, despite being a Heavenly Immortal, aware of many inexplicable phenona in this world and seeing no need to stubbornly pursue this.

“Perhaps when Zhixuan returns, I can invite her to take a look; she might discover sothing,” he pondered, wondering if Sword Cultivators had special sensitivity to this place.

Just as Li Zhirui was about to depart, having activated his Mana, a different fluctuation suddenly appeared behind him.

“Hmm?”

He swiftly turned, surprised to find the mountain had suddenly unveiled a space rift!

“What’s happening?” This unforeseen change made him extrely cautious, hesitant to approach, instead using his Divine Sense to probe carefully.

Swoosh—

From within the rift ca the sounds of ocean waves crashing on the shore; Li Zhirui initially thought no further changes would occur and montarily let his guard down.

But in the next instant, a powerful suction force erupted from the rift, catching him off-guard and drawing him in.

“Not good!”

Instantly, he activated his Mana to resist, but the suction was overwhelmingly strong, and having lost the initial advantage, he was ultimately swept away.

After a tumultuous spatial shift, Li Zhirui steadied himself, realizing he had arrived in a mariti realm, surrounded by endless azure waters, with suspected islands as re black dots on the horizon.

“Sothing’s wrong! This isn’t the Primal Spirit Realm!” He was sure because he felt his connection to the Heavenly Dao was sohow being blocked!

Such a state couldn’t occur if he were still in the Primal Spirit Realm!

“An unprecedented, brand new Secret Realm?” Li Zhirui narrowed his eyes, unsure whether to deem it good fortune or the opposite.

Sword Mountain had stood in the Northern Domain for countless years without a Secret Realm unveiling, yet within days of his arrival, it had erged!

Alas, the Secret Realm had forced him in without regard to his willingness.

“Does this Secret Realm relate to the external Sword Qi?” Driven by inquiry, Li Zhirui began to explore the whole Secret Realm, having entered with a determination to strive for the greatest benefit!

His first destination was those black dots observed earlier; while there might be information in the vast ocean, searching through its imnsity posed greater difficulty, so he prioritized it last.

“Indeed, they’re islands!”

Rushing forward, he soon reached the locations of those black dots, which turned out to be an archipelago consisting of five large islands and several smaller ones, spanning a few miles in circumference.

His first approach was the largest of the islands.

Boom—

Li Zhirui unleashed his Divine Sense, instantly enveloping the island, thoroughly inspecting every corner to ensure no clues were overlooked.

Though the consumption was considerable, the efficiency was swift, allowing him to successfully discover so things.

Within a cave on the island were murals, the contents fascinatingly revealing many tales.

The first mural: A youth finding a battered sword by the sea, seemingly playing as he flails it around.

The second mural: The youth matures, his Sword Skills appearing more practiced.

The third mural: The youth departs from the fishing village, gains opportunity, and embarks on the path of Cultivation.

Subsequent murals depict the youth’s Cultivation journey, spanning considerable ti, transitioning from a minor Loose Cultivator to joining a Great Sect, where he is highly regarded.

The third-to-last mural shows the youth wielding his sword, traveling the world as a Knight, acting chivalrously to right wrongs, though in doing so, he incurs the enmity of many; yet due to his prowess and sect backing, none dare act against him.

The second-to-last mural portrays a battlefield where the youth stands alone, confronting a tide of Devil Beasts, bloodied from combat, with mountain-like piles of beast corpses at his feet and before him.

Perhaps because of prolonged battle, he appears ready to collapse, seemingly on the brink of endurance.
