“Then do you still rember which direction they ca back from?”
He thought back seriously for a mont, then said with so uncertainty, “I think it was southeast?”
“Southeast…”
Li Zhixuan imdiately thought of the base, since it just happened to be southeast!
She’d been a little puzzled earlier as to why they were so reluctant to go out to battle; so this was the reason!
“Jiu really guessed right! These devils actually planned to sneak attack and break through our base, trying to crush everyone’s morale.”
All of a sudden, the words Li Zhirui had said to her before leaving flashed through her mind, and she couldn’t help but be shocked.
No one could have imagined that he was able to deduce sothing that hadn’t even happened yet—such insight is incredible! She had no idea how he managed it.

Hearing this, he relaxed and said, “Then I won’t disturb Ancestor Xuan further.”
After he left, she thought for a mont and summoned several Elders.

“Ancestor Xuan, is there sothing you want of us?”
Li Zhixuan nodded: “Once you go down, have everyone get ready for war—those creatures of This Realm probably can’t hold back any longer.”
“What?” The group didn’t understand how she’d co to such a conclusion.
She explained briefly the devil’s sneaky tricks—since the attack on the base had failed, only by defeating them on the front lines could they drive them out, otherwise Floating Light Realm would never see peace!
The Elders’ hearts tightened; they were still anxious and uneasy about this battle, since they were up against all the lifeforms of a world.
Even though the Immortal Tao of the Floating Light Realm had been wiped out, the remaining Demonic Tao and Devil Race still outnumbered them by an unknown margin.
One could well imagine just how imnse this pressure was!
“There’s one more thing!”
Li Zhixuan’s expression turned serious: “The enemy may claim to have broken through our rear base, massacred many clansn, even destroyed the space rift for escape.”
“But in truth, it’s all lies! All fabricated! Jiu already foresaw they’d do this, so he’s made arrangents—after our victory, you don’t have to worry about not getting out.”
“Huh?”
The elders were full of doubt—how co they knew nothing about this?
Just what have the two ancestors been keeping from them?
Seeing Li Zhixuan had no further orders, they hurried off—there was much to arrange, and it would take ti.
Ti flew by quickly, and in a blink, several days passed.

Early that morning, an urgent bell sounded throughout the Primordial Spirit Camp, startling every cultivator awake!

In just monts, a dense mass of figures—at least tens of thousands—appeared over the camp, casting an oppressive, mountain-like shadow.

But just as she prepared to draw her sword and slash at the bottoms of those Spirit Boats, sothing happened!

“What are these things?”
Curious, Li Zhixuan plucked a stone orb with her divine sense, probing carefully at what it was and what it might cause.
But a close examination revealed nothing—they seed just ordinary, unremarkable stones.
She certainly didn’t believe that—if they were ordinary stones, why the elaborate effort? Did they really have nothing better to do with their strength?
“Throw all these stone balls outside!”
There was no choice—since they didn’t know the stones’ properties, Li Zhixuan dared not have anyone destroy them directly and chose the clumsy thod instead.
So as the stone balls dropped down, they were thrown far away one after the other.
Of course, Li Zhixuan wouldn’t just stand by—she raised her broken sword and attacked the Spirit Boat Magic Artifact above.

The Devil Beasts and Demon Cultivators aboard were never going to let that stand, acting to counter her attack and protect the Spirit Boat from harm.
After tossing the bulk of the stone balls, the devils started to move their Spirit Boats away—but didn’t go far, as if waiting for sothing.
“Sothing’s not right! These things aren’t right! Hurry, get all of them out of here!”
But they were a tad too slow—those seemingly harmless stone balls were abruptly turning into bombs!

A terrifying blast swept out in all directions, engulfing many clansn.
“Damn it!”
Even Li Zhixuan hadn’t anticipated this result; her expression turned extrely grim.
She herself was unhard by the explosion, but many clansn and Loose Cultivators didn’t have her strength.
The blast ca so suddenly that there wasn’t even ti to react.
The only thing to be thankful for was that they were inside the camp, protected by the Formation, so weren’t hit directly at first.
But as soon as the explosions subsided, their laboriously built defenses had been utterly destroyed!

As the attacking side, they already outmatched their opponents in strength and numbers by several tis—without the Defensive Array, their enemies lose their only advantage!

“Quick! Set up the backup Defensive Array!” Li Zhixuan quickly urged the Array Masters to get to work rebuilding the formation.
But how could the creatures of This Realm give them that chance?
“Kill!”
Several Human Immortals shouted, unleashing a terrifying killing intent, yet they didn’t charge forward recklessly.
They knew full well that, against the furious Li Zhixuan, whoever rushed first would certainly perish to her Sword Qi!
