Because of the alliance between the Immortal Tao and Demonic Tao, the Sea Clan was utterly stuck between a rock and a hard place over the West Continent issue.
Unable to figure out a good solution, the Heavenly Immortal Water Demons simply tossed the whole issue aside for now, deciding not to deal with it yet. First, they'd digest the waters of West Continent and get full control, then consider further action.

This was because the rewards promised earlier by the various major Immortal factions were about to be open for exchange!
However, since the Sea Clan retreated so quickly this ti, almost all the cultivators didn't gain much, barely earning any points—not nearly enough to redeem those coveted rewards.
This detail made it obvious: the Immortal Tao higher-ups had anticipated all of this from the start and had plans to keep harassing the Sea Clan in the future.
So they imdiately announced that points could be accumulated, and no matter when, killing Water Devils would always earn points!
Though, outside of warti, you only earned twenty percent of what you would during battle.
As for slots to enter those Secret Realms, you could choose to "buy on credit," not borrowing Spirit Stones, but promising to participate in the next operation—how many disciples or clan mbers you'd send into battle, or alternatively, agreeing to kill a large number of Water Devils.

Ever since Li Debo cracked down on that bunch of rats and parasites in the family, things inside had gotten a lot clearer—no one dared try any shady little tricks anymore.
The regular clan mbers were, of course, happy about this—it was a great thing for them—but for the Elders and Stewards, it was a real pain.
Before, they could sneak away a Spiritual Object here or there, but ever since that incident, not a single one dared to try that again. They simply couldn't get used to it.
Even if they suffered, they could only swallow it and bear it—not daring to ss up now of all tis.
And so, Li Debo's reputation in the family beca sharply divided. In most clan mbers' eyes, he was an excellent leader. To a small group, though, he was a criminal guilty of unspeakable sins!
But all they could do was gripe in private or grumble to themselves; they didn't dare let their opinions be known, and certainly wouldn't try any kind of strike or resistance.
After all, not only did Li Debo have righteousness on his side, but above him were Li Zhirui and Li Mingyao and other Ancestors backing him, with broad support below. If they actually tried anything, they'd only be screwing themselves!
Besides enduring it, they had no other options.

Suddenly, a bolt of thunder crashed down out of a clear sky, the massive commotion drawing everyone's attention.
"What's going on?"
Though it didn't strike Mount Wanxian, that Spirit Mountain was ho to many rare Spiritual Objects.
A group of cultivators flew over at once, quickly arriving at the front of Spirit Mountain.
"This looks like the place where Spirit Ancestor Qingpeng is in seclusion?" a clan mber said, hesitant.
"That's right! This is it!" Hearing that, several others rembered and chid in to confirm.
"I heard the Ancestor is in seclusion, attempting to break through to the Heavenly Immortal Realm. Could this be a sign of his impending success?"
"No way? I've never heard of thunder coming down as an on before Tribulation Transcendence starts."
"Then it can't just be so random thunder out of nowhere, right?"
While they argued, another bolt of thunder suddenly struck from the sky, landing not far from them and scaring them into hastily retreating, fleeing the area right away.
The shock unsettled them and made them even more confused—so suspected a treasure had just been born in the mountain, causing the phenonon; others thought Xiaoqing was cultivating so secret technique; and so simply believed the thunder was a coincidence, not so mysterious reason like everyone thought.
The commotion they kicked up was so big that more clan mbers who hadn't seen the thunderstrike firsthand were drawn over, found out what happened, and joined the discussion. In the end, it got so loud and chaotic that the noise reached Li Debo himself.
