In this matter, Li Zhirui was still very confident.
After all, his strength was far beyond that of those Golden Core cultivators, and in the chaotic situation, it was very convenient for Li Zhirui to fish in troubled waters.
"If you need us, just let us out anyti, we are always ready for battle," Xiaoqing, who was not far away, flew over to join in the excitent.
Over the years, Xiaoqing had already passed the Transformation Tribulation, but unlike Da Qing, he preferred to act in his true form and rarely transford into human shape, as it was more convenient for him to fight that way.
Although Xiaoqing had not advanced to the Golden Core Late Stage as smoothly as the well-founded Da Qing did after Li Zhirui's breakthrough to the Nascent Soul, he had also added several years of mana to him.
But whether it was Da Qing or Xiaoqing, they both faced a problem, which was that due to the bloodline, their breakthrough to the fourth tier was an extrely difficult task!
Even though they had signed a contract with Li Zhirui, which to so extent had reduced the difficulty of breaking through, their bloodline would still shackle them tightly, creating nurous obstacles on their path to a breakthrough.
Even so, they were far luckier than the wild rank-three Devil Beasts. For those Devil Beasts, breaking through to the fourth rank was as difficult as reaching the heavens!
To break through to the fourth tier, one must either find heaven-sent treasures to evolve the bloodline and solve the shackles or continuously accumulate mana to break through the bottleneck with imnsely thick mana.
The forr requires chance, as the heaven-sent treasures that can cause bloodline evolution are very rare and scarce, and have been monopolized by the major Devil Races early on, with few circulating among the human race.
Back when Li Zhirui was in the most prosperous Central Cultivation Realm, he had also inquired about these kinds of heaven-sent treasures, but sadly, whether it was due to insufficient cultivation or their true rarity, he had not received relevant information.
However, Li Zhirui felt that it was probably because these kinds of heaven-sent treasures were not very useful to human cultivators and lacked a market, so not many cultivators collected them.
The latter, on the other hand, requires a lot of ti and resources. For ordinary cultivators, investing so much resources in a Spirit Beast is not worthwhile. According to Li Zhirui's estimates, these resources could cultivate two Golden Core cultivators.
However, with the space in hand, Li Zhirui wasn't very concerned about this, although no one knew how long it would take.
So after much consideration, Li Zhirui decided to use both thods at the sa ti.
Li Zhirui pressed down these complicated thoughts and while playing with the Cang that had just flown over, said with a smile, "That won't do, if you show yourselves, wouldn't that expose my identity?"
It must be assud that with Li Zhirui's breakthrough to Nascent Soul, his various details had already been collected by the nearby forces, even the Profound Ice Sect in the distant Great Void Province knew of this newly advanced Nascent Soul.
Because in this northeastern region of the Eastern Territory, True Lords with Nascent Souls were rare, and in the past hundred years, only Qing Lei and Li Zhirui had erged, naturally attracting a lot of attention.
The main reason Li Zhirui was reluctant to reveal his identity was that if a conflict erupted, it would inevitably result in the death of so cultivators or mbers of the Devil Race. If they had any powerful background or patronage, it would be a bad thing for both Li Zhirui and the Li family.
He only wanted to take advantage of the chaos to seize the Millennium Lifespan Grass and did not want to get involved in the conflict between the Profound Ice Sect and the Devil Race of the Great Snow Mountain.
"Then be careful," Da Qing warned, "Such a precious life-extending spiritual object might tempt even a Nascent Soul. There could already be Nascent Soul cultivators lying in ambush nearby."
"Don't worry," Li Zhirui nodded cautiously.
A night passed without words.
Early the next morning, Li Zhirui departed from the small Immortal City and flew towards Han Yuan State in the north.
The shopkeeper, upon discovering Li Zhirui's departure, felt a sense of relief in his heart, genuinely afraid that his deception had been discovered by the other.
Following the shopkeeper's vague directions, Li Zhirui could only head northwest first and, once he entered Han Yuan State, he would need to find out the exact location of the Millennium Lifespan Grass.
Worried about being late, Li Zhirui did not stop at any Immortal Cities along the way, forging ahead with the Spirit Boat through the blizzard, resolute even when the weather beca severe.
"Hooo hooo hooo!"
Across the wilderness, gusts of sharp, enormous cold winds, mixed with snow, obstructed Li Zhirui's vision.
Looking into the vast white expanse ahead, a strong sense of unease suddenly washed over Li Zhirui, as if there was so terrifying and deadly danger looming before him.
But before Li Zhirui could retreat, a terrifying storm that penetrated heaven and earth appeared before him, engulfing everything nearby, like a colossal spirit of ice and snow, coming straight for him.
Even as a Nascent Soul cultivator, in the face of the mighty forces of nature, Li Zhirui still felt utterly insignificant and powerless, and could only seek refuge within his expanded space to avoid the massive ice and snow storm!
If it had been any other Nascent Soul cultivator, facing such a natural disaster, they might not have perished but would have definitely sustained extraordinary injuries!
"What happened?" Da Qing, looking at Li Zhirui who had suddenly entered the space, still wearing a look of fear, asked urgently, "Did you encounter so danger?"
"Yes, a huge storm suddenly arose outside, and it was too close to escape in ti, so I had to hide in the space to take refuge," Li Zhirui explained.
Upon hearing this, Da Qing's face showed shock and after a mont of stunned silence, he said, "But you are a True Lord with a Nascent Soul, even you can't deal with that storm?"
"How can re mortals like us contend with the imnse power of heaven and earth?" Li Zhirui replied with a bitter smile, shaking his head.
However, this incident made Li Zhirui realize that his ego had gotten the better of him after his breakthrough to the Nascent Soul stage, feeling a bit too exhilarated by his own power, and brought his mindset back down to earth.
"If I break through to the fourth stage, I could definitely split the storm apart!" Xiaoqing boasted with unabashed confidence.
As far as Li Zhirui was concerned, Xiaoqing was simply ignorant and fearless. If it weren't for the fact that the situation outside was unclear, he would have really considered taking Xiaoqing out to see for himself, lest the young one remain too arrogant.
"You better focus on your cultivation. You're not even in the late stage of the third tier!" Da Qing interjected bluntly, suppressing him straight away, and just as before, Xiaoqing had no power to resist.
"Where's Cang?" Li Zhirui, having been in the space for so long and not seen Cang, finally asked.
"He's in that big lake to the north, having the ti of his life, hardly sparing a thought for you," Xiaoqing said with a mischievous smile.
Li Zhirui had started breeding various types of Spirit Fish in the space a long ti ago, both to provide a change of diet for the Spirit Beasts and himself, since constantly eating Spirit Fruit could beco tireso, and to give Da Qing sothing to do to prevent boredom in the space.
After all, Li Zhirui spent years traveling and cultivating outside, and except during battles, Da Qing spent most of his ti inside the space.
The big lake ntioned by Xiaoqing was a naturally occurring Spirit Lake that appeared after the recent expansion of the space, spanning over ten miles, which Li Zhirui transford into a vast Spirit Fish breeding ground.
