Song Wen retrieved a jade box and carefully placed the Pure Origin Heavenly Dew inside. Instead of storing the box in his storage ring, he held it firmly in his hand, standing his ground.

By the ti he finished, the cultivator who had spoken earlier had already closed the distance to within three thousand feet.

The newcor was a male cultivator wreathed in wisps of Thunderlight, clearly a mber of the Profound Sky Sect. He didn’t imdiately attack Song Wen but instead scrutinized him from head to toe.

"Fellow Daoist, your face is unfamiliar. Do you hail from the Myriad Swords Pavilion or the Spirit Jade Palace?"

"I am Fu Kaiyu of the Fu Clan from Cultivation Sun City, under the jurisdiction of the Spirit Jade Palace," Song Wen replied. "May I ask your esteed na?"

"The Fu Clan?" The cultivator’s brow furrowed slightly, as if he had never heard of the Fu Clan of Cultivation Sun City. However, he didn’t dwell on it, responding instead, "I am Ying Deng of the Profound Sky Sect."

Having never heard of "Ying Deng," Song Wen adopted an enthusiastic expression, as if eting a renowned figure. "Ah, the legendary Fellow Daoist Ying Deng! My deepest respects."

Ying Deng paid no attention to Song Wen’s flattery. He glanced at the jade box in Song Wen’s hand and said,

"Fellow Daoist Fu, though you were the first to claim this drop of Pure Origin Heavenly Dew, I was the one who discovered it. I won’t force you to part with it, but I’m willing to offer ten thousand high-grade spirit stones for it. What do you say?"

As he spoke, Ying Deng’s gaze sharpened, and his aura turned colder.

Song Wen replied, "Fellow Daoist Ying Deng, this seems rather inappropriate. I’ve been searching through the Nine Heavens Astral Wind for over ten days, and this single drop of Pure Origin Heavenly Dew is all I’ve found. It’s hardly fair for you to try and take it so easily. Besides..."

Song Wen paused deliberately.

"While Pure Origin Heavenly Dew is precious, this single drop is barely a drop in the bucket when it cos to breaking through to body integration. Why create unnecessary conflict?"

"You may only have this one drop, but I certainly don’t," Ying Deng retorted coldly.

Song Wen raised an eyebrow, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"So, you possess a substantial quantity of Pure Origin Heavenly Dew?"

Ying Deng’s expression imdiately turned wary.

"Are you planning to make a move on ?"

"Fellow Daoist, you misunderstand ," Song Wen said, gesturing with the jade box in his hand. "I’m willing to sell you this drop of Pure Origin Heavenly Dew. However, I have one request."

"Tell more," Ying Deng said.

Song Wen replied, "During our ti in the Turbid Spirit Realm, why not let accompany you, fellow daoist? We can search for Pure Origin Heavenly Dew together. Until you’ve gathered the required amount, all the dew we find will be yours. Afterward, any additional dew we obtain will belong to . What do you think, fellow daoist?"

Ying Deng’s lips curled into a cold smile. A ten-foot-long halberd suddenly materialized before him.

Thunderlight crackled around the halberd, its eerie azure arcs writhing like venomous serpents.

"We’re strangers. Why would you offer such kindness? You only want to accompany so you can wait until I’ve gathered enough Pure Origin Heavenly Dew, then strike when I’m off guard. Since you’re so ungrateful, die!"

With those words, the halberd pierced the air, lunging straight at Song Wen.

Watching the halberd’s ferocious approach, Song Wen shook his head.

He had initially hoped that Ying Deng’s ability to find Pure Origin Heavenly Dew amidst the raging gales ant he possessed a unique thod for locating it, which Song Wen could exploit.

Unfortunately, his sche had been seen through.

However, Ying Deng’s suspicions weren’t entirely accurate.

He had no need for a sneak attack to kill Ying Deng.

Suddenly, silver lightning erupted from Song Wen’s body, engulfing him completely in blinding light.

With a wave of his hand, he unleashed a plasma blast the size of a millstone.

Boom!

The plasma collided with Ying Deng’s halberd.

Silver lightning clashed with deep azure energy, unleashing countless writhing electric serpents that swept outward in all directions.

In an instant, the raging gale winds around them were violently torn apart, creating a vacuum zone.

"I didn’t expect you to cultivate thunder magic as well," Ying Deng said, his eyes narrowing with a hint of disdain. "But showing off your thunder magic before a direct disciple of the Profound Sky Sect is utterly presumptuous!"

His hands swiftly ford a series of Thunder Incantations.

The halberd suddenly emitted a dragon-like roar, and the deep azure thunderlight that had been flickering along its shaft intensified, transforming into a violet-black thunderlight.

The halberd’s power surged exponentially, effortlessly obliterating the relentless plasma blasts and driving Song Wen back.

A bronze gong materialized before Song Wen.

The gong expanded rapidly in the wind, growing to several dozen feet in diater, transforming into a towering golden wall that shielded him.

"The Mountain-Quelling Gong!"

Ying Deng’s expression changed drastically upon seeing the bronze gong.

"This treasure belongs to Elder Xuan Qu. It disappeared after his death. How did it end up in your hands?"

Clang!

Before he could finish speaking, the halberd crashed against the gong, unleashing a deafening roar that shook the heavens and earth.

Ying Deng’s eyes remained fixed on the gong, his gaze gradually shifting from shock to fury.

"It seems you’re connected to the one who hard Elder Xuan Qu. Reveal their identity, and I’ll grant you a swift death!"

With a furious roar, Ying Deng commanded the halberd, which had been blocked by the gong, to circle through the air and strike again with even greater force.

Crack!

At that mont, a thunderous crack echoed from above.

Ying Deng jerked his head upward.

A golden bolt of heavenly thunder tore through the howling Nine Heavens Astral Wind, hurtling straight toward him.

"The Divine Blood Gate’s Nine Great Heavenly Thunder Secret Arts... You’re one of them." Ying Deng’s fury intensified. "The Spirit Jade Palace has secretly colluded with the Divine Blood Gate, bringing you demonic heretics into the Turbid Spirit Realm!"

Ying Deng raised his hand and pointed at the halberd.

The halberd imdiately reversed its course, surging upward like a wrathful dragon rising from the sea, its blade aid directly at the descending golden thunder.

To his utter astonishnt, the mont the long halberd clashed with the golden thunder, the purple-black thunderlight enveloping its blade shattered instantly.

The halberd, unable to withstand the golden thunder, let out a piercing wail and was hurled far away.

The golden thunder’s power diminished significantly, leaving only a faint wisp that continued its descent toward Ying Deng.

Seeing this, the fury on Ying Deng’s face vanished, replaced by a grave solemnity.

The Nine Great Heavenly Thunder Secret Arts truly lived up to their fearso reputation. A single bolt of heavenly thunder had repelled his natal magic treasure.

With his opponent’s mystic treasure still unrevealed, continuing the battle would inevitably put him at a disadvantage.

"Fu Kaiyu, don’t get cocky! You won’t leave the Turbid Spirit Realm alive!"

Silver thunderlight surged from Ying Deng’s body.

In the next instant, his entire figure transford into a streak of silver light, riding the gale and vanishing without a trace.

"Trying to escape? Not so easy!" Song Wen snorted, his own body instantly transforming into a silver streak as he pursued Ying Deng.

Both cultivators moved with extre speed, far surpassing that of ordinary Void Refinent Stage cultivators.

However, Song Wen maintained a slight edge.

Ying Deng’s shock grew as he realized he wasn’t shaking off his pursuer; instead, Song Wen was closing the gap.

"How do you know the Profound Thunder Nine Heavens Escape Technique?"
