And so… they imdiately surrendered!
Ten minutes later, under Akuto's interrogation, Miltelt and Kalawarner revealed everything they knew.
"As expected, this is all because of Asia, isn't it? Because I took Asia from them…"
Akuto rubbed his chin. He had already guessed this before returning.
Indeed, if it wasn't for Asia, there would have been no reason for them to co. If Raynare truly wanted to strike at him, she wouldn't have sent only her two Fallen Angel companions.

"This…" Miltelt and Kalawarner fell silent.

"Oh right, Lord Akuto—did you already know that Amano Yuuma was Raynare's alias?" Miltelt asked cautiously.
"Yes. I knew she was a Fallen Angel long ago," Akuto replied calmly.
"Then… why did you agree to be her boyfriend?" Miltelt asked curiously.
"Because… I genuinely like her."
He smiled faintly. "Don't you think it's adorable? A prideful girl forced to act like an innocent maiden in front of ."
Akuto truly did like Amano Yuuma. Of all the girls in the DxD world, she was the one who most strongly gave him the feeling of "first love."
"I see…" Miltelt and Kalawarner both let out a breath of relief.
If he said this, it ant he wasn't planning to kill Raynare.
Akuto noticed their emotions. That they even had such reactions… showed their loyalty was real.
"Here's your next assignnt. Miltelt, Kalawarner—I want you to return to Raynare and complete the mission I give you."
"Keep Amano Yuuma stable, and also investigate more about the Khaos Brigade. Understood?"

The two answered loudly.
After sending them away, Akuto returned to the Apocalypse World, continuing his routine: slaying zombies and training by day, spending his nights with the heroines.
When the set return ti ca, the three of them transported back to DxD.

"Lord Akuto, breakfast is ready."
Olivia, the silver-haired saint, opened his bedroom door—

Before Akuto could react, Olivia slamd the door shut.
"So it's already the second day, huh~" Akuto muttered, reluctantly pulling himself away.
Sensing his departure, Asia furrowed her brows, a wave of emptiness washing over her.
She hadn't stirred at Olivia's scream—but the mont Akuto left, she woke instantly.
Recalling last night, her face flushed crimson.
She rembered—it had been she who asked Akuto to hold her all night. Because only in his arms could she feel fulfillnt and happiness.
Half an hour later, after Olivia's wake-up call, they finally left the bed.
At the breakfast table, Olivia gave Asia a complicated look.
She hadn't expected the pure, saintly Asia in her mories to act so boldly. Doing such things was one thing… but clinging to Akuto so openly afterward was another.
What Olivia didn't know was that while she thought only one night had passed, in reality it had been five nights inside the Apocalypse World. Otherwise, with Asia's innocence, she never would have changed so quickly.
After breakfast, Akuto left for school.
"Olivia, I'm leaving the house in your care."
"Understood, Lord Akuto. We may not have combat tasks, but we will ensure everything at ho is taken care of," Olivia replied with a soft but firm smile.
There was resignation in her eyes—for they were used to such servitude. From saints of the Church to maids of a devil, fate was cruel indeed.
And yet there was also relief—for compared to Latia's grand castle, Akuto's ho was much smaller and easier to manage.

At Kuoh Academy.
Lunchti. After finishing his al, Akuto arrived punctually at Sona's office.
Seeing him arrive on ti, Sona crossed her legs gracefully, white thighs shifting slightly as she nodded in satisfaction.
Pouring him tea, she spoke directly:
"Akuto-kun, you already know why I called you here today, don't you?"
Taking a sip of tea, Akuto looked at her in mild surprise. Sona was being unusually straightforward today.
So he answered her just as directly.
"Yes. Rias told —the Underworld intends to arrange a marriage between you and . And you want to cancel it."
"That's right. Akuto-kun, what do you think? Do you want to annul this engagent?" Sona pressed her lips together.
She did like Akuto, in her own way. But for his safety, this marriage had to be ended.
As her clear gaze t his, the system's prompt rang in his ears.

This was a perfect trap. If the Old Leviathan faction didn't act, it would threaten their very legitimacy.
That was why Sona wanted to annul the marriage.
By ending it, both she and Akuto would be safer. Even if attacked, Akuto would likely only be captured—not killed.
"Sona, I know your intentions. I know you're doing this for my sake," Akuto said calmly.

Relieved, Sona exhaled. As long as Akuto agreed, they could play along together, deceiving the old powers.

Her lips parted in disbelief. She couldn't understand why he would reject this.
"Akuto-kun, do you even realize what you're saying? If you accept this engagent, the Old Maou faction will target you at any ti!"
"I know. If you can see it, of course I can too."
"Then why won't you agree to break it off?"
"Because…"
He leaned back slightly, smiling.

Whether from anger or embarrassnt, Sona's face flushed red.
"Then let be clear, Akuto-kun. Even if you refuse, I will annul this engagent for my own safety!" she snapped.

"If Grayfia is there, and you live at Kuoh Academy, how could you possibly be in danger?"
Sona froze.
She hadn't expected his perception to be so sharp.
Indeed, as Akuto said, Grayfia had been there all along. If the Old Maou faction attacked, she would act imdiately.
