The wedding reception of Shanks concluded smoothly and was, by every visible asure, a grand success. Laughter, music, and celebration echoed long into the night. Yet beyond the borders of the Land of Uzumaki, the reaction was far less cheerful. For the great powers—the Land of Fire, the Land of Water, the Land of Thunder, the Land of Earth, and the Land of Wind—there was little to celebrate. To them, this event was not rely a wedding; it was a statent. The Land of Uzumaki had openly displayed its growing influence, and it had done so without any attempt at subtlety.

The strength demonstrated by Shanks and the other Uzumaki siblings made the ssage unmistakably clear. This was not an isolated show of power, but proof that the Uzumaki possessed formidable military backing to stand behind them. With warriors of Uzumaki siblings' calibre at their forefront, the Land of Uzumaki would not hesitate to face even the major nations. The balance they had once relied upon was quietly shifting, and everyone could feel it.

In a sense, there was currently nothing capable of halting Uzumaki's rapid growth. That realization left the great countries deeply uneasy—and, more importantly, helpless. Until they could be absolutely certain of defeating the Uzumaki siblings, and above all Shanks himself, an attack on the Land of Uzumaki was unthinkable. Any reckless move would invite overwhelming retaliation from the Uzumaki clan, a response that could spiral into consequences far worse than silence. And so, for now, all they could do was watch, calculate, and wait.

And also, all the major countries were waiting—waiting for the Uzumaki clan to take action against the Land of Water, or at the very least against Kirigakure, to strike back in retaliation. Yet even after a month or more had passed, the Uzumaki made no move against Kirigakure. The silence was unsettling and deeply confusing for the great nations, who had expected an imdiate and decisive response.

At the sa ti, the only explanation they could reasonably cling to for this inaction was a practical one. The Uzumaki did not yet possess a large, conventional army capable of launching a full-scale assault on Kirigakure. Even if they chose to attack, there would be little to gain from it—perhaps a handful of riches seized, a few Kirigakure shinobi killed. And that much had already been accomplished when Kirigakure's forces had crossed into the Land of Uzumaki and t their end there. From an outside perspective, any further aggression would seem inefficient and unnecessary. But everyone also knew that, if not today, then tomorrow, Uzumaki would definitely retaliate against Kirigakure.

However, the Uzumaki clan's restraint did not an that the world had returned to peace. On the contrary, Kirigakure's attack on the Land of Uzumaki acted like a lit fuse, igniting tensions across multiple nations. Along the borders of the great countries, pressure steadily built as skirmishes began to break out. Small attacks and provocations followed one another, each side testing the limits of the other.

Although no official declaration of war had been made, the atmosphere was growing heavier by the day. Every nation harboured the sa ambition—to annex pieces of its neighbours' territory whenever the opportunity arose. It was the sa underlying motive that had fuelled the wars of the past, nothing new at all, only waiting for the right spark to explode once more.

After almost three months had passed since Shanks's wedding reception, tragedy struck Konoha. Hatake Sakumo, one of its strongest and most respected shinobi, took his own life, crushed by guilt over a failed mission. The loss sent shockwaves through the village. In the eyes of the other major nations, Konoha's strength had visibly weakened, and with that perception, the winds of war began to blow even more fiercely.

Yet fate did not leave Konoha empty-handed for long. Within a few months of Hatake Sakumo's death, a new star began to rise from within the village—a young ninja whose na spread with astonishing speed. His reputation grew almost exponentially as tales of his strength circulated across battlefields and borders alike. That shinobi was none other than Namikaze Minato.

Minato had mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique, and his battlefield presence was nothing short of overwhelming. His signature move, combined with his striking yellow hair, made him impossible to ignore. The way he vanished and reappeared across the battlefield was almost unreal; one mont he would be gone, and the next he would strike from another direction entirely. To those who witnessed it, it was as if a streak of yellow light was flashing across the field of battle. And so, his moniker—the Yellow Flash of Konoha—began to echo farther and wider with each passing day.

As ti continued to flow, the world slowly drifted closer to chaos. While no fully declared war had erupted, constant conflicts and skirmishes plagued the lands. Amid this unrest, the Uzumaki village continued to grow in relative peace. Ironically, the instability elsewhere forced—or perhaps tempted—many rogue and trouble-making ninjas from fleeing villages to seek refuge or opportunity within the Land of Uzumaki.

None of them lasted long.

Any shinobi who arrived with ill intentions was dealt with promptly and decisively by the Uzumaki siblings. There was no hesitation, no rcy for those who sought to cause chaos. The ssage was clear and unwavering. The Uzumaki village remained a forbidden zone—untouchable to anyone who dared step into the land with hostile intent.

Three years passed, and most of the Uzumaki siblings had grown into adulthood, now around eighteen years old or in their early twenties. With ti ca refinent, and with refinent ca power—their strength had made a trendous leap forward through relentless training. Seeing this growth, Shanks finally allowed them to move freely across the world, no longer bound to remain within Uzumaki lands, and to seek their own paths. That freedom also carried an unspoken permission: they could pursue revenge against the ninjas of Kumogakure and Kirigakure if they so desired.

At the sa ti, Kirigakure had yet to actively participate in the larger wars. Instead, the village had taken on a strictly defensive stance, focusing all its efforts on protecting itself from potential attacks by rival villages. The reason was obvious to anyone paying attention. Kirigakure had been struck devastatingly hard after losing nearly five thousand of its ninjas in a single confrontation with the Uzumaki siblings and Shanks. The wound was deep, and the village was scrambling to recover, desperately training more and more ninjas to refill its depleted ranks.

That desperation did not go unnoticed by the other villages. For the first ti in a long while, Kirigakure had abandoned its infamous, blood-soaked thod of ninja graduation. Previously, the rule had been brutally simple: kill all your classmates, stand at the top, and only then would you graduate. That system had now been altered. If a student could use basic ninjutsu and prove capable in combat, they were granted the rank of ninja.

Of course, it was not as if Kirigakure had truly shed its cruelty. The newly graduated shinobi were still forced straight into battle, expected to survive real combat and hone their skills amidst constant bloodshed. It was survival of the fittest, rely delayed by a few steps. As a result, more than half of the Genin who graduated from Kirigakure's Ninja Academy still t their end on the battlefield, their lives extinguished in the village's ruthless attempt to rebuild its strength.

In this manner, the days continued to pass, and the Uzumaki siblings did not rush toward blind revenge—charging forward simply to hunt down and kill their enemies. Instead, their approach was far more calculated. They began cooperating with various major and smaller villages, especially those seeking protection from the spreading fires of war. Any country that wished to shield itself from the chaos would offer paynt to the Uzumaki siblings in exchange for their protection.

Their operations were deliberate in their placent. The Uzumaki siblings would choose small regions bordering Kumogakure, or areas where the shinobi of Kumogakure or Kirigakure were known to be active. This ensured that whenever ninjas from those two villages arrived—whether under the pretence of war, patrol, or coercion—the Uzumaki siblings would eliminate them. By acting in this way, they always had legitimate reasons for their actions, reasons that could easily be justified or reshaped if questioned about the deaths of Kumo or Kiri ninjas near those smaller countries.

Through this strategy, they carefully maintained a balance. They had no desire to beco enemies of the entire world, viewed as nothing more than bloodthirsty maniacs. With the level of strength they possessed, such a reputation could easily push the other major powers into uniting their forces against them. After all, the Uzumaki siblings were already recognized as genuinely powerful, and their continued growth would only make them an even greater threat in the future. Because of this, every move they made was asured, restrained, and purposeful—always walking the fine line between retaliation and restraint.
