After an hour or so, Mikoto, with her children and the Uzumaki siblings—that is, Erza, Guy, and Yoko—ca to Kushina's house. The late afternoon air was calm as they knocked on the wooden gate. A faint creak sounded as it opened, and it was Kushina who stood there.
She looked at Mikoto, who was holding a child in her arms. "Mikoto," she said softly, and then her eyes imdiately focused on the child.
At that very mont, another small voice echoed—a soft, innocent sound of a second child. Kushina's gaze shifted, and in Erza's hands, there was another baby. For a brief second, Kushina simply stared at both of them, her eyes shining.
"So you fulfilled your promise—that you would definitely co to Konoha to let et my niece and nephew."
Mikoto nodded with a gentle smile.
Just then, footsteps approached from the path outside. Minato arrived with his new team of graduates—Kakashi Hatake, Obito Uchiha, and Rin Nohara. As they stepped closer and saw so many people gathered there, they were bewildered. The air itself felt heavier, charged with sothing unseen.
Everyone sensed their arrival. Almost instantly, Guy, Yoko, Erza, Mikoto and Kushina turned their eyes toward them.
When Kakashi looked at the group, his face turned completely solemn. First of all, he knew that only one clan possessed such vibrant red hair. And the invisible pressure present here—subtle yet overwhelming—made it clear that, except for Kushina, the other three red-haired figures were the Uzumaki siblings.
Kakashi, being quick-witted and sharp-minded, imdiately pieced together their identities: Queen of the Fairies, Erza Scarlet; Demon Emperor, Guy Uzumaki; and lastly, the Vine Demon, Yoko Uzumaki.
All three of them were well known and imnsely powerful. Just their presence alone was enough to create pressure in any place they stood. The air felt denser around them, as if even the wind hesitated to pass.
Even Obito and Rin, who did not know the true identities of these three, instinctively straightened themselves in their presence. The usually energetic Obito remained unusually dignified. If I ss around here, it might end badly, he thought, his instincts warning him clearly.
Minato's expression, anwhile, grew solemn as his eyes t Erza and Guy. A few years ago, he had t them and witnessed their battle with his own eyes. He could tell without a doubt that Erza and Guy had beco far more powerful than before—especially Guy, whose aura now carried a sharp, dangerous edge.
If they were to fight now… Minato had a quiet feeling that he might not survive long in front of Guy. The thought was fleeting but firm. Although he had never t Yoko before, he could sense his strength as well. It was calm, controlled—but undeniably deep.
Kushina turned toward Minato, her face brightening instantly as she gently held up Shamrock.
"Minato, co look at my niece and nephew."
After hearing Kushina's voice, a warm smile appeared on Minato's face. He stepped closer to her and looked down at the child in her arms. The baby had bright, clear eyes that seed to observe everything without fear.
Looking at the child, Minato's smile deepened. "He definitely is cute, and I can clearly see the resemblance of this child to Lord Uzukage."
Kushina nodded imdiately. "Right… I also felt the sa."
Then Minato asked, "What is the na of the child?"
As soon as Kushina heard that question, she paused. In the happiness of seeing the children, she had completely forgotten to ask their nas. She had been about to ask earlier, but at that exact mont Minato had arrived, and the thought slipped away in her excitent.
Mikoto, looking at both Minato and Kushina, said gently, "He is Shamrock. And just a few minutes younger is my daughter, Uta."
At that, Kushina and Minato both turned their attention toward the other child in Erza's arms. Kushina carefully handed Shamrock to Minato, making sure he held him properly, and then she moved toward Erza. With a bright smile, she picked up Uta and began playing with her, lightly bouncing her and making soft sounds that made the baby move her tiny hands.
Minato, holding Shamrock steadily, glanced around and then reminded her with a faint chuckle, "You should invite everyone inside the house, don't you think?"
As soon as Kushina heard this, she beca slightly embarrassed. "I was just too happy to see my niece and nephew, you know."
After that, everyone moved inside the house—including Kakashi, Obito, and Rin. At first, Obito was noticeably restrained because of the presence of the Uzumaki siblings. His usual loud energy was absent, replaced by careful movents and asured words. But as ti passed and the atmosphere softened—especially when Shamrock and Uta were passed from one person to another, receiving affection from everyone—that stiffness gradually faded.
Even Obito found himself smiling as he peeked at Shamrock's tiny fingers. Rin gently held Uta at one point, her expression soft and delighted. Kakashi remained composed as always, yet his gaze lingered on the babies a mont longer than usual.
Guy stood slightly aside, watching the scene unfold—Shamrock and Uta being carried around, admired, and loved by everyone present. The house, filled with soft laughter and the occasional small cry, felt unusually warm.
…
They stayed in Konoha for the next three days. Those days passed peacefully. After that, Mikoto returned to Uzushiogakure with the entire entourage she had arrived with—that is, the Uzumaki siblings and all the Uzushiogakure Ninjas. Their departure was orderly, and soon they reached back safely.
After returning, Mikoto and Shanks were sitting opposite each other inside their residence, each holding one of their children. Shanks was holding Uta carefully in his arms, while Mikoto was holding Shamrock. The atmosphere was calm, illuminated by soft light filtering into the room.
They were talking about everything that had happened during her trip to Konoha—or, to be precise, Mikoto was describing everything in detail.
Mikoto said, "You know, when I went back, I learned that the Uchiha clan head, Uchiha Fugaku, had also gotten married to one of the elders' daughters. And their child was also born—it had already been almost a year. And he nad that son of his Itachi Uchiha."
Shanks listened quietly and nodded after hearing this.
Inside, however, his thoughts were far from calm. So Itachi… and Sasuke will still be born in this world. Even though he had changed the plot by marrying Mikoto, it seed that the world was correcting itself. Events that were ant to happen were finding their own paths.
No matter how much the river bends, it still reaches the sea, he thought silently, his expression remaining composed as he looked down at Uta resting peacefully in his arms.
