1160: Chapter 370 Murder Is Guilty, Cutting Trees Is Justifiable_3 1160: Chapter 370 Murder Is Guilty, Cutting Trees Is Justifiable_3 Just like when chopping wood and the axe blade unintentionally gets stuck in the tree, he would pull it out and then chop again.
This was, of course, a simple action, and his pulling of the sword seed effortless.
But the problem was…
This sword had clearly already been grasped in the rciful iron automaton’s hand, firmly clenching the blade!
This was by no ans simple!
The woodcutter’s axe seed to suddenly lose its bindings, reappearing in Lin Xian’s hand, once more freely and naturally swinging down.
Clang!
The chanical man couldn’t avoid it in ti nor block it and took a direct hit from the sword on its left arm.
Sparks flew!
That wasn’t any fire-type Dao Technique, just the bare, naked sparks created from an axe striking a tallic hand, the clash of steel!
Crack crack crack…
The chanized iron man emitted an extrely strained noise, but its entire chanical left arm flew off without a hitch, falling to the ground!
The woodcutter’s axe had chopped a piece of wood.
Of course, the Woodcutter wouldn’t stop there.
He wanted to chop more wood; he aid to return with a full load.
Many people were waiting for his harvest.
The Woodcutter’s ho was waiting for him!
And so, Lin Xian walked forward.
His steps were simple, very ordinary.
Lifting his foot, taking a step, as simple as a Woodcutter walking towards the next tree.
But this step had already taken him past the chanical man, facing the rciful foe head-on.
This step even reminded Jiang Wang of his own “Walk in the Sky.”
And Lin Xian did nothing but raise his sword and strike again.
Anyone who has chopped trees knows it’s rare for a tree to be felled with one blow; it takes cuts from different angles, with force directed toward the sa horizontal cut.
So Lin Xian’s sword also changed angles, he swung diagonally towards the rciful automaton’s waist.
It was all too natural, it was also a very “real” strike.
Lin Xian seed to have already gripped this “tree,” ready to cleave it in two at the waist.
If this strike were to land, it’s likely that the rciful creature’s upper and lower halves would be severed.
But in front of Lin Xian’s foot was a dark, spherical object.
This sphere, unknown as to when it appeared there, suddenly expanded at that mont,
The outer shell parted, and a tiger-shaped chanical beast burst forth, biting the blade in one gulp!
The spherical shell that spread behind it turned out to be wings.
At a glance, it even looked a bit like a ladybug.
This was the Ladybug Tiger!
“Kui Lun” states: Like a tiger with wings, like a ladybug with strength.
Its malice surpasses that of a tiger, and its might exceeds any other.
Clearly, Qiao Lin hadn’t taken Lin Xian lightly as he wished, not showing any negligence.
He valued his opponent highly, with the second puppet already prepared.
The Yellow River Gathering forbids the use of Magic Artifacts, Armor, Daoist Robes, and all other external aids; aside from weapons, cultivators can only rely on their own strength to fight for victory.
There are additional restrictions for Mo’s Monks practicing Mo’s Art.
Mo’s Monks must only use puppets they crafted themselves, and the number cannot exceed five.
This is to prevent Mo’s Monks from winning with puppets that far exceed their own strength, turning the Yellow River Gathering into a competition of national power among countries.
Before the competition, the puppets that Mo’s Monks intend to use in the battle must be checked by a designated person, and only after confirming that the puppet’s owner and crafter are indeed the sa, will the use be permitted.
Using any puppet beyond the approved ones results in imdiate disqualification from the battle.
For Mo’s Monks, this might seem unfair, as their pursuit of “mastering objects” naturally ans the stronger, the better, and who crafted them is irrelevant.
Ideally, a Roaming ridian Realm Cultivator should be able to control a True Monarch-level puppet; that would be truly marvelous!
Many Mo’s Monks have staked their entire fortunes on their puppets.
So Mo’s Monks have indeed won by their sheer number of puppets…
However, there’s no such thing as absolute fairness in the world, as any rule is just considered “fair” by the vast majority.
Once Yong Country ascends to the ranks of the world’s strong nations, perhaps the restrictions at the Yellow River Gathering might change.
But for now, though the Mo Family is a renowned Sect, the Yellow River Gathering is a eting of Dukes and countries.
The Sect, in its capacity, cannot ddle.
Because the rules were such, the rciful one, after summoning an autonomic iron man the sa size as himself and a Ladybug Tiger, still had room for three more puppets.
Both Qiao Lin and Lin Xian were very aware of this.
Whether it was the chanical iron man or the Ladybug Tiger, both were exceedingly formidable.
How strong then would the remaining three puppets be?
Qiao Lin’s chances of winning seed too great.
But Lin Xian rely drew his sword again.
He once again effortlessly pulled out the woodcutter’s axe, which had sohow freed itself from the Ladybug Tiger’s mouth.
And with a slash, he aid right for Qiao Lin’s Heavenly Spirit!
