Now reading: Chapter 241 - 241 93 Belief a Word of Man1 from Red Heart Patrols the Sky, a Eastern novel by Deep Feelings.

241: Chapter 93: Belief, a Word of Man_1 241: Chapter 93: Belief, a Word of Man_1 If it weren’t for Su Xiuhang today, Hu Shaong might have already snatched the True Qingyun Sheep and fled thousands of miles away.

So even though he spoke quite arrogantly and offensively, Jiang Wang didn’t plan to do anything about it.

Of course, another reason was that he had not yet opened the Heaven and Earth Gate and mastered the rank-A fire-type Escape Skill; he wasn’t sure if he could catch up with Su Xiuhang, who ca from an assassin background…

Jiang Wang, holding the True Qingyun Sheep, turned his head and saw Zhu Bijing’s eyes, red and swollen from crying.

“You owe a favor,” Zhu Bijing said directly.

She was the kind of girl who couldn’t hide her emotions.

Waiting until Xizi Chu had left before speaking was already a remarkable restraint.

Naturally, Jiang Wang didn’t feel uncomfortable, and was certainly not about to deny it outright.

Without her help at that ti, rely relying on Su Xiuhang wouldn’t have been enough to stop Hu Shaong.

“What do you want?” Jiang Wang asked.

“Help kill Hu Shaong!” Zhu Bijing said through gritted teeth, “He’s the one who hard my sister.”

Jiang Wang casually condensed the wood energy, entwining the True Qingyun Sheep with green vines and securing it, then placed it into his embrace.

“Dugu Xiao!”

He called over the petite figure: “You wanted to work under , right?

I’ll leave the mine in your charge for now.

You handle the aftermath and soothe the miners’ emotions.

Have the Manager work with you.”

He then said to Zhang Hai, “Handle anything related to transcendents.

If you can’t manage it, wait for my return.”

With only these two directives, he turned on his heel, resting his hand on the Longsword.

The great battle had just ended, and it was ti to organize the gains and digest what had been obtained.

Other matters should wait.

But whether it was in attacking the boar-faced adversary outside the mine or intercepting Hu Shaong at the entrance of the mine, Zhu Bijing had contributed.

One could even say she risked her life.

The favor was a promise Jiang Wang himself had made.

So when she made her request at this ti, without a second word, he had to fulfill it.

“Are you setting out right now?” Zhu Bijing asked hastily, “I’ll go with you.”

“Murder is a task that requires speed, and your presence would only slow it down.

Stay in the mine; with the recent battle, unrest is bound to arise.

Zhang Hai alone might not handle it well, so staying here is helping .”

Jiang Wang glanced at Xiang Qian, perhaps inadvertently, took the mirage pearl from Zhu Bijing’s hand, and continued, “I will bring Hu Shaong’s head back to you.”

In the insatiable force of the boar-faced adversary, Zhang Hai had been powerless to resist, clutching at whatever he could in desperation.

Yet it was the seemingly useless and degenerate Xiang Qian who, amidst that wild tearing force, stood firm as if rooted to the ground.

On any regular day, he hid his abilities well, but in such a situation, he could no longer conceal them.

And of course, it didn’t escape the watchful eyes of Jiang Wang, who was constantly monitoring the battlefield.

However, Xiang Qian had only concealed his strength and hadn’t shown any other designs or sches.

Everyone has their secrets, and Jiang Wang was not the kind of person who couldn’t tolerate others having secrets.

That glance was both a reminder and a warning.

Racing along the official road, he kicked up a long trail of dust like a dragon.

Jiang Wang traveled swiftly while deploying his rembrance technique.

The recent battle had left too many traces of Hu Shaong.

The grass bowed its head as if imrsed in recollection.

Perfected, this Dao Technique might allow one to directly trace the mory of a person or event without need for any further clues.

Now, limited by the caliber of the performance platform, he couldn’t extrapolate the technique to a higher level.

The direction the grass bowed was towards Green Sheep Town.

Which coincided with Jiang Wang’s own deduction.

From Hu Shaong’s perspective, Jiang Wang had already taken possession of the True Qingyun Sheep and reaped the ultimate reward, losing the reason to continue pursuing Hu Shaong.

Moreover, Xizi Chu would soon arrive at the mine, and there would likely be another confrontation between them.

Whether it was for recuperating in Green Sheep Town or gathering belongings and resources for a family relocation, it should be safe during this period.

The dilapidated official road was quickly traversed, and having been there once already, Jiang Wang effortlessly made his way directly towards the Hu residence.

Several carriages were parked outside the door, and many servants were busily moving in and out.

Having offended both the Zhong Xuan Family and the Xi Family, one could either kneel and beg for forgiveness, seeking pardon, or one would be unable to remain in Yang Country, with even less hope in Qi Country.

Judging by the Hu family’s preparations, they must be ready to move the entire household to the Near Sea Archipelago.

Jiang Wang did not bother with small talk, simply drawing his longsword as he entered the courtyard.

“I am here for Hu Shaong.

Life and death are in your own hands, bystanders stay out of the way.”

The commoners’ deep-rooted awe for transcendent cultivators was evident.

Seeing Jiang Wang’s aggressive approach, no one dared to make a sound, all dropping their belongings and fleeing as if in a disaster.

The courtyard emptied.

Only a slightly overweight elderly man was slumped on the steps in front of the hall.

His eyes lifeless, he seed even older than when last seen, though by how much was uncertain.

The crowd had all fled, and he seed to have just realized it.

He lifted his head in a daze, watching Jiang Wang approach with murderous intent, but said not a word, as if he had gone foolish.

“Where is Hu Shaong?” Jiang Wang asked him.

“Jiang Wang, you’ve taken my Qingyun sheep, you’ve broken my fingers.

I may have offended you in a thousand ways, but it should all cancel out by now!” An angry voice from Hu Shaong ca from a room on the right.

Striding out in a rage, his severed finger hastily bandaged, he exclaid, “What more do you want from ?”

His words may have seed reasonable, but they were laughable.

The entanglent of favors and grudges was never as simple as mutual cancellation.

The world did not permit one to provoke trouble and also dictate the consequences.

Jiang Wang wasted no more words, his longsword unsheathed in an instant as he moved forward.

A cold glint like a lightning flash, and Hu Shaong was instantly torn apart by sword qi.

Jiang Wang looked around with his sword at the ready, but there was no flesh and blood on the ground; it was rely an illusion.

Hu Shaong had hidden himself!

Where was he hiding?

Jiang Wang suddenly turned to one side.

To the right of where Hu Shaong had stood and ten paces away, he reappeared there.

His face flushed with rage, he said, “Jiang Wang!

There are limits to what one can do, you should not be utterly ruthless.

Do you really think the Diao Hai Building can be bullied without consequence?”

Jiang Wang did not speak, his sword swung horizontally, shattering another illusion.

This ti, Hu Shaong appeared on the other side.

The tone changed again, “You’ve taken all the advantages, why must you persist in this rciless slaughter?

Even the Heavenly Dao spares one line for survival, to allow the cycle of karma.”

Such lifelike illusions, erging endlessly and flickering unpredictably, did not seem like the work of a Heavenly-Reaching Cultivator, completely exceeding the abilities he showed.

Jiang Wang could not sense Hu Shaong’s true whereabouts at all.

Pursuing the trail was at its limit once it reached this courtyard; it could not determine a more specific location and thus was rendered useless.

But regardless, with such powerful illusion techniques, he could have easily left without being noticed.

So why did he insist on staying and making useless conversation?

Was it because he couldn’t bear to leave his father and family behind, or… could he not leave?

Jiang Wang clenched his Longing tightly.

If he had co alone to hunt down Hu Shaong, refusing the company of Zhu Bijing, he naturally had his confidence.

Though his own ability with illusions paled in comparison to those from the Diao Hai Building.

But illusions were not omnipotent Dao techniques.

They had one core and direct weakness, the person casting the illusions!

Jiang Wang surged forward with his sword.

His body like a hurricane, his sword like a silver snake darting back and forth.

The sword qi surged wildly, with the sword sweeping like a raging tide.

In the span of three breaths, he had slashed through every corner of the room!
