The faces of the top officials of the Special Investigation Bureau in the conference room went pale upon hearing the voice from the screen.
"What do you an?!"
Beichuan Tian asked for confirmation again. He knew exactly who the voice on the screen belonged to: a key figure in Japan, soone who truly had the power to make many of the nation’s most important decisions.
"Were my words not clear enough? At any cost, using any ans necessary, your Special Investigation Bureau units, in conjunction with the military and police, must eliminate that person."
The voice turned incredibly sharp.
"But sir, he’s still inside the Tokyo City District. It’s not the best ti to act. It would likely cause imnse destruction and lead to heavy losses in the city,"
Beichuan Tian continued.
’Trying to corner an expert of this caliber within an urban area... It was impossible to know how much damage it would cause, or how many casualties there would be.’
’If anything went wrong, they would be unable to answer to the Japanese People.’
"You must understand that we are now defining this incident as a terrorist attack. Any losses, any casualties, will be attributed to the terrorist. Everything we do represents justice. Do you understand?"
The voice said calmly.
Hearing this, Beichuan Tian fully understood the resolve of his superiors.
’They were going to ignore the potential impact and losses within the Tokyo City District to ensure Yi Beidou was killed.’
In a way, he could understand his superiors’ thinking.
Initially, their plan had been to contain this incident as a dispute within the Martial Arts Realm. As long as Yi Beidou didn’t cause widespread destruction, they wanted to avoid a major conflict with him inside the city, letting their own masters handle him.

Otherwise, if Yi Beidou, with no masters left to keep him in check, was allowed to fully recover, there was no telling what he might do.
After all, no one truly knew if he was an operative sent by Donghua specifically to target Japan’s entire leadership and political structure.
In short, it had reached the point where so of the lofty, high-and-mighty leaders were finally feeling afraid—afraid of a single man. They could feel the situation slipping from their control.
"Gentlen, begin the operation at once."
Beichuan Tian said in a low voice, looking at the other top officials of the Special Investigation Bureau in the conference room.
’Tonight, all of Tokyo is going to descend into chaos.’
Because of Yi Beidou’s appearance, Japan had already stationed various ard forces throughout the Tokyo City District. Now, these troops were all mobilized, advancing on the Tokyo Tower area to form an encirclent.

The announcent was broadcast repeatedly in both Japanese and English, echoing through the streets and alleyways within a ten-kiloter radius of Tokyo Tower.
Inside a hotel near Tokyo Tower, Lin Zhenhua and the group of young tourists from Donghua, who had watched the entire battle from a vantage point with an excellent view, were still buzzing with excitent.
"That’s Mr. Yi for you! No matter the opponent, they all fall before him!"
The group was feeling utterly exhilarated. They were just about to decide where to go for a late-night al to celebrate when they suddenly heard a commotion outside. Panicked crowds poured out of the surrounding skyscrapers, and what looked like fully ard soldiers and armored vehicles appeared on the streets below.
Loudspeakers mounted on the vehicles were blaring evacuation orders.
’A terrorist attack?! We have to go to an air-raid shelter?!’
Lin Zhenhua and the others exchanged a look, their mouths hanging open in disbelief.
Their first thought was of Yi Beidou.
’Have the Japanese officials formally classified his actions as terrorism?’
After all, even though Yi Beidou had been in Japan for days and stirred up a massive storm, the Japanese governnt had always been vague and had never officially defined the nature of the situation.
But now, it was clear a decision had been made.
A terrorist attack.
’And how does a nation respond to a terrorist attack?’
’By eliminating the source of the attack at any cost.’
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!
Before they could think any further, there was a knock at their door. But before they could answer it, they heard the BEEP of a keycard, and the door swung open. A Japanese woman in a hotel staff uniform walked in and bowed deeply.
"I’m so sorry for the intrusion, but this is an ergency. For your own safety, please follow imdiately to the hotel’s underground air-raid shelter."
The attendant said in a loud, clear voice.
With no ti to think, the group didn’t bother grabbing anything and imdiately followed the attendant out of the room.
The sight of fully ard Japanese troops had made the gravity of the situation clear. They weren’t about to gamble with their own lives.
