Now reading: Chapter 349 - 257: The Seal of True Qi, a Nebula at a Palm’s from Redemption of a Born Demon, a Eastern novel by 3 Lives Fool.

The world contains "Dharma Artifacts" and "Magical Treasures." The essence of these items lies in "Sacrificial Refining," a process that alters an object’s inherent magnetic field, allowing it to unleash miraculous powers when activated by an external force.

However, both Dharma Artifacts and Magical Treasures must be bound to a specific physical form. If that form is damaged, the magnetic field within will break down and dissipate along with it.

A "Spirit Treasure," however, is different. It doesn’t need to rely on any physical form. Though it is nothing more than an ethereal magnetic field, it can maintain an incredibly stable structure over long periods, allowing it to exist in the world independently.

In essence, it is similar to "Deities," yet superior to them. This is because a Deity’s magnetic field can be damaged and weakened, but a "Spirit Treasure" is nearly impossible to harm.

That incredibly stable magnetic field structure will reassemble and reform even if shattered, returning to its original state.

Formless, and thus, invulnerable.

Its "indestructible" nature, along with the "Longevity" characteristic exhibited by Earth Immortal Remains, seems to represent an untouchable boundary between the tangible and the intangible.

This was indeed the truth. In the world today, no one could create a "Spirit Treasure"; its thod of formation was unknown. They were typically only unearthed within Earth Immortal Level ruins.

Furthermore, as ethereal, self-contained entities, they naturally possess the ability to block perception. They can attach themselves to any object, even embedding within mountains and stone, making them exceedingly difficult to find.

In so respects, a Spirit Treasure was an even rarer discovery than Earth Immortal Remains or Earth Immortal Ruins.

The mont they saw the ethereal crown in Devi’s hand, a fervent light erupted in the eyes of the four Ancient Ones.

Spirit Treasures, aside from having a few special thods of use, did not "recognize a master." Whoever managed to seize one would gain the right to use it.

’If we just kill Devi, we can take this extraordinary treasure from his corpse!’

Under the watchful eyes of the four, Devi gave his palm a slight shake. The ethereal crown soared into the air, spinning as it expanded, then settled onto his head, resizing itself to a perfect fit.

It could change size at will, its transformations endless—exactly like certain artifacts from the legends.

At that mont, with the crown on his head, Devi looked like a king ascending his throne. His aura, already like that of a being gazing down on mortals from on high, beca even more unattainable, transcending the very heavens.

A nebula seed to swirl around him, dotted with shimring points of light. He appeared mysterious and remote, as if in a dream or a fantasy.

The imnse, oppressive aura jointly created by the four Ancient One avatars was, for a mont, completely shrugged off by Devi.

How could a mortal aura possibly fill the cosmos?

anwhile, atop a distant building, a man and a woman stood on the roof, gazing toward the battlefield at the port.

The man had distinctly East Asian features. He was tall with shoulders as broad as a doorfra, wore a black jacket, and sported a mustache. His face gave no hint of his age.

Beside him was a woman with the clear features of mixed heritage. Her skin was unnaturally pale, and her features were as delicate as a porcelain doll’s, but her expression was so frigid it seed to lower the surrounding temperature.

"A Spirit Treasure? I didn’t expect him to be hiding a treasure like this. Could he have discovered a relatively well-preserved set of Earth Immortal Ruins? That seems unlikely. Ruins like that are usually accompanied by ’Earth Immortal Remains.’ Judging by the magnetic field he’s emitting, he doesn’t seem to be soone who has devoured Earth Immortal Flesh and Blood."

the mixed-race woman said, her eyes narrowed slightly.

"A Spirit Treasure isn’t necessarily found only in Earth Immortal Ruins. A random cave or a giant boulder could be its hiding place. Perhaps this was just his good fortune. The man was born extraordinary; it’s not surprising he would have such luck."

The man said with a smile.

"Judging by its design and magnetic signature, this Spirit Treasure is likely related to the myths of the South Arica Region. I just wonder what abilities it possesses."

the woman said calmly.

"We’ll know soon enough just by watching. I’m rather curious to see what kind of power he can unleash by borrowing from the Power of Spiritual Treasure. Perhaps this matter won’t require our intervention after all."

the man said.

"That would be for the best. It would save us the trouble."

The woman nodded slightly.

「Port Battlefield.」

"Once we kill him, the Spirit Treasure goes to whoever is strong enough to take it. How does that sound?"

The Black Earl’s eyes narrowed, a hint of greed lurking in their depths.

SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH!

A series of piercing, low shrieks rang out as bat-like shapes materialized from the corrupt, blood-red Realm surrounding him, forming a dense, black swarm.

These bats were not ford from so-called "black light," but were a manifestation of corrupting power.

Even light itself was corrupted, making them appear naturally pitch-black.

"When the ti cos, it’ll be every man for himself. But let be clear: we take care of the target first. If anyone gets any funny ideas, then even if it ans giving up the Spirit Treasure, I will sacrifice this avatar to fight them to the death!"

a tall man said in a low, heavy voice.

RUMBLE! RUMBLE!

A rumbling sound emanated from within the man’s body. The pores on his skin began to shift like countless grains of sand, and his entire being seed to transform into an avatar of sand itself. A scorching, desolate aura spread out, threatening to subrge everything like a sky-blotting sandstorm.

From Secret Technique Heaven, codena: Sha Xutuo.

"I agree. If anyone holds back, the rest of us will attack them together."

Another man, impeccably dressed in a suit, wore an expression of profound compassion.

POP! POP! POP!

Several places on the man’s body suddenly burst open. Blood spurted from his hands, his feet, and his sides. Dark, gaping holes appeared on the soles of his feet and the palms of his hands, blood streaming from them ceaselessly.
