Once Julia disappears into her room, Adam heads back to his and drops down on his bed and stares at his ceiling as he takes it all in.
As he reminisces over everything that happened today, he can fathom how any of this is real. It's a fairy tale, a dream, sothing that shouldn't be real, but here he is, living it, feeling more alive than ever.
In fact, it is his past life that feels more like a dream than the one he is experiencing now.
Adam brings his hand in front of his face and stares at it. He recalls how Brandon tried to assert his dominance over him, but he retaliated and almost broke his arm.
'How strong am I really?' Adam questions. Sure, this new body feels amazing, but he doesn't know just how strong it really is.
'Let's test it out...' Adam thinks, and rolls off the bed, landing on the floor with his hands and legs making contact with the ground first. He easily breaks his fall with his strength.
Now, in a push-up position, he begins doing push-ups. Ten push-ups, easy. Twenty, he doesn't even break a sweat. Thirty, no problem. Fifty, still doesn't feel any fatigue. Hundred, still nothing.
Adam realizes it's useless to continue this because now it has beco more of a test of his muscles' endurance than strength.
But this also allowed him to learn that not only is he strong, but his endurance is also off the charts.
With a strong push with his hands, he imdiately swings up back to his feet and doesn't feel anything. It's as if he didn't even do a single push-up.
"Let's see what else is going on in the world currently," Adam murmurs and walks up to his computer and turns it on.
He looks at his PC and feels so admiration for it. Everything inside this PC is the latest hardware one can find at this ti. As an introvert with too much money, his younger self spent a lot of money buying the latest hardware every year.
As he looks at his past actions, he can't help but marvel at his own stupidity on how much money he wasted on these hardwares. If he had saved that money, he would have had at least an extra ten thousand dollars at hand.
Sitting down in his chair, he opens the browser and begins looking through the internet to recall if there is anything he can rember.
After ten minutes in, he suddenly stumbles into sothing, and his mind imdiately lights up.
'What day was it again?' he questions and looks at the date. September 2, 2023.
Seeing the date, he quickly opens a crypto website to check the price.
'Fucking shit... yes!' Adam thinks, and his eyes widen with extre delight. He can't believe his luck.
As a man from the future, he knows that Crypto will be a massive thing, and people who invested in it beca super rich.
Adam, too, was planning to invest in it as he would be an idiot not to after coming back to the past, but that shouldn't have garnered this much excitent from Adam because it would take so ti for his investnts to bear fruit.
The reason Adam is excited is because of today's date, or the day that is about to co.
Crypto would definitely be huge in the future, and it will take so ti. But there are big players out there who have had their eyes on this new type of currency for years, and they are about to make a move.
Before crypto blows up in price in the future permanently, it blew up once before that, but not naturally.
So big players, bulls, saw this crypto as a pump and dump sche, so they hiked up its value, making millions of average potential investors salivate over the imnse returns and invest in it, only for the rug to be pulled from beneath their feet.
In a few days, the price of crypto will rise exponentially, and many will invest in it. So smart and not-so-greedy will pull out before the rug is pulled, earning them a lot, while most lose their money.
Of course, the ones who think they lost all their money will get it back as the price of crypto will rise naturally in the future.
Of course, Adam doesn't give a shit about all those people, this huge rub pull sche is the best option for him to multiply his money.
So, without wasting any ti, he puts the fifty thousand dollars in his bank and buys a lot of crypto coins with it.
The price of one coin is about 500 dollars right now. Seeing the hundred crypto coins in his account, a big smile appears on his face.
'I have struck gold,' he thinks. Within a few days, he is going to beco a millionaire.
"Who would have thought I would be so lucky, coming back to a day just before this massive rug pull, hehehe," Adam grins like a monkey all to himself.
He rembers how big an impact this had on people all over the internet. So people put their everything into it only to lose it all. So people even killed themselves after seeing the value of the currency plumt to an all-ti low.
Luckily, Adam knows just when to pull out.
As Adam relishes in his newfound wealth, he hears the ring of the doorbell coming from downstairs.
He looks at the ti and sees it's 5 PM. "They are here," he murmurs and gets up from his chair and heads down.
Walking down the stairs, he sees Julia approach the door and open it. A middle-aged lady wearing big glasses and a suit greets Julia.
Adam arrives at the door and sees three other won standing behind the glasses-wearing woman, respectfully.
As Adam lays his eyes on the three won behind him, he has already made his decision. As for what Julia thinks, he doesn't care. He knows he can easily go over her.
"Co in," he hears Julia call them in.
"My pleasure," the glasses-wearing woman says and steps in. She then signals the other three won to follow suit.
Julia turns and sees Adam and gives him an annoyed stare. Adam looks back at her and smirks.
They then move to the living room. Adam and Julia take a seat on the couch while the woman wearing glasses begins introducing the three won who are going to work.
She first introduces a Caucasian woman who is in her 40s and has average looks and body. Adam has no interest in her.
Then the 60-year-old Latin woman in introduced, who also has the most experience when it cos to taking care of household duties, but she too doesn't interest Adam.
Then the glasses-wearing woman finally introduces the girl Adam has had his eyes on from the very beginning.
"This is Xu Lin. She lives with her father, who is very sick, so she works very hard for his treatnt. She is also very obedient, and even though she is young, she makes delicious food, and knows how to take care of almost all household work."
Adam's eyes lock onto Xu Lin as he checks her out.
She has straight black hair, beautiful dark brown eyes, a small, round nose, a small mouth, but nice lips, and an oval-shaped face. She is beautiful, and Adam wants her.
"I have made my choice," Julia suddenly speaks up, and Adam knows her choice.
She will choose the old Latin lady because of her experience, as Adam rembers her from the past, she is the sa old lady who worked for them.
In the past, Adam was not involved in the maid selection process, so he didn't know that Julia had rejected such a cute girl. But now that Adam is here, he is not going to let her have her way.
"Julia," Adam suddenly speaks up, grabbing everyone's attention, as this is the first ti he has spoken since their arrival.
"Let's discuss before you make any decision. Ladies, can you please wait in the kitchen while Julia and I discuss this?" Adam says. His tone carries a lot of authority, which cannot be ignored.
"As you wish, sir," the glasses-wearing woman says and takes the ladies with her to the kitchen.
Julia frowns as he gives Adam an annoyed stare.
"Don't even think about it," she says. She can already tell Adam's intentions.
Adam smirks. "Oh, and who are you to tell what to do?" Adam questions back.
"This should be none of your business. I am the one who needs a maid the most, so it should be my decision," Julia says.
"Fair point, but I don't give a shit what you think," Adam says smirking at her.
"Don't push , Adam!" Julia says.
"Hahaha, let's be real here, Julia. You can't do anything to , so let's stop with the threat. Also, I am choosing Xu Lin for your own good," Adam says.
Folding her hands below her breasts, Julia humphs, "And how is that?" she questions.
Adam doesn't answer her directly; instead, his eyes lock onto her perfect, round breasts as they almost pop out from her sexy black dress.
'Soon, they are going to be mine,' Adam thinks.
