Inside the Leonine Heaven, under the fractured skies and void, two sides fought against each other.
The dragons, having recently opened a separate portal from their own heaven directly into the Leonine Heaven, had assembled themselves in the sky above the supermassive landmass.
They shot down, their ranks being a mix of dragon officials and re citizens of the empire.
This was an opportunity for them to strike directly at the heart of the command of these kings.
Both sides had once held superior formations and battled with strategic mindsets.
Alas, the war was too brutal for such a thing to be allowed indefinitely.
Strategy?
Right now, they just wanted to kill one another.
All strategies were aningless when there were beings who could cut off half of a galaxy with a single wave of their claws.
Flashes of many cannon blades filled the air; the landmass was being shattered.
The bodies of dragons and lions were being flung into the air or smashed into the ground. The chances of dying randomly in this particular place were higher than actually dying from an actual attack.
It was just chaos.
The lions, using whatever ans they had, pounced on the dragons, bringing them down with numbers and weight before thoroughly dismantling them.
The dragons too, smashed the walls of lions with their dragon breath, burning the tyrants to crisps and using their natural flight advantage to the best of their abilities.
Unfortunately, being able to fly here was not much of an advantage. Fireballs, ice spears, rock cannons, tal needles, and even so lions themselves could reach them.
In the sky, the portal that the dragons had used to co here was still open.
At this mont, there was a golden blur.
A golden streak of light.
The Blessed Savior.
The Great.
Noel.
A golden lion blasted off from the ground, creating a deep crater in the process. Two bull-like horns glowed greenish-gold on the sides of his head.
Two massive gold-feathered wings flapped behind him, supported by an intense spatial distortion that allowed him to cross the vast distance between the skin and the earth in a single instant.
His aura was so contained, it was unbelievable.
He tore through the arm of dragons like a hot knife through butter. There was absolutely no resistance against all, no being could possibly stand in his way without eventually turning to blood mist.
And it wasn’t like they wanted to stand in the way of this infamous golden lion, it was just that he moved too fast. So fast that he didn’t give them ti to move away.
Like a shooting star, he shot up into the sky, heading straight for the open Heavenly Gate and parting the mass of dragons into two like the Red Sea.
Noel.
His eyes were both a piercing gold color, akin to a crystal with dots of golden light behind it.
"ABOMINATION! FIGHT !" Noel declared as he rushed to the dark dragon portal.
It was clear that his goal was the dark dragon portal.
In response to Noel’s declaration, the dark portal, which had edges of reality breaking off from its sides, quivered in an attempt to collapse on itself.
Many dragon officials, most of whom were tier 7 moved to block Noel, but they were all swatted away like flies, all of them eting the sa fate.
Just because they could get close to Noel didn’t an they would survive.
"FOR THE SAKE OF THE FUTURE GENERATIONS OF LIONS, I CONDEMN YOU!"
The strings of reality broke as Noel forcefully flew faster than the speed of light, shattering the hidden dinsions around him.
With a loud boom, Noel shot into the portal, entering the ho of the dragons.
A lot of lions and lionesses who caught sight of this had sorrowful expressions, their eyes were watery yet they kept on fighting.
////
The Draconic Heaven was quiet, painfully so.
How could it be?
No, it was just a part of the heaven that was quiet, the rest were still experiencing significant amounts of turmoil.
*BOOM!*
A deafening boom spread out as the skies cracked.
A terrifying pressure descended from the open portal as a golden figure shot down from the gate.
With wings spread out, a mighty wave of Conquering Essence burst out of his mouth as he roared. The dark portal behind him crumbled, collapsing under the force of the Primordial Lion.
Noel didn’t need to look back to confirm what he had done, it wasn’t his first ti forcefully shutting down the heavenly gate of such a being.
All his focus was on the entity existing before him.
Pure black.
Half dragon half lion.
Size?
Thousands of kiloters.
It was safe to say that this abomination was larger than a lot of planets.
This was Ibadon at his peak.
He was different.
The colossal abomination looked down with pitch-black eyes.
They were not red, not blue, not green, Ike they used to be.
Just black.
No pupils, no irises, just the manifestation of his Oblivion Heart.
Ibadon looked at Noel without fear, his only desire in this life was vengeance. Seeing Noel here, he felt ever so close to the peace of mind he always wanted.
Now, he could finally get it.
The darkness from the abomination of Oblivion clashed with the divine radiance of the blessed Savior.
No words were exchanged. Both Noel and Ibadan knew what they wanted from each other.
Complete extermination.
*BOOM!*
*BOOM!*
The two immortals flashed out, breaking reality as they sped faster than the speed of light.
Dinsion fragnts like broken mirrors and tears from the fabric of reality were left in their wake.
A single second was stretched into infinity, seemingly never going to end, until it did.
*BAM!*
They clashed.
Ibadon’s head clashed with Noel’s, their horns locking in place and their eyes burrowing into each other’s.
All the mini planets and floating continents that had been in the surrounding one hundred thousand light-years radius were blasted away.
Everything except space and ti was gone.
*DADADADADADADADA!....*
Within a split instant, that very simple instant that occurred when a new Chrono Signature was being ford, the two immortals exchanged millions of blows.
Ti and space groan in distress. This battle was unbelievable. Every movent of theirs was forcefully crushing the ti continuum into a single point.
Singularities.
That single point where the laws of physics and the universe no longer made any sense. They created hundreds of them every second.
Black holes were appearing as though they were random market cabbages that could be found anywhere.
This was especially the case for Ibadon as his powers were actively causing the births of more and more Black holes.
Noel on the other hand also created spatial tears and ti crunches with his movents but most of the ti, they were thrust into a state of being Conquered, therefore sealing them before they could do any damage.
The edges of reality were seen with every slap they landed.
*BOOM!*
A black light shot down so fast that it shattered the reality of the Draconic Heaven, creating a Spatial bridge that led to the mortalverse.
This put a montary hold on the battle.
Less than a second had passed since Noel and Ibadon started fighting.
It was like the reenactnt of the Big Bang.
So sudden, so instant.
To the ordinary eye, nothing had happened except the fabric of reality suddenly being torn to shreds.
Noel looked down ruthlessly at the unstable spatial bridge that was trying to nd itself.
He frowned, he had only engaged in that shirt bout to see if there was still another way to end this.
But it appeared that Ibadon was not only stupidly strong, the abomination was also relentless.
As if to confirm his thoughts, there was a screeching sound like the noise produced when glass was dragged on the side of a concrete wall.
Ibadon had been blasted out of the Draconic Heaven, possibly destroying so Galaxies in the process.
But he was shooting back faster than he left and within the blink of an eye, he was clawing his way through the spatial nd with his bare claws.
Just as Noel was preparing himself again, there was an unexpected visitor.
*BAM!*
A humanoid slamd into Noel from the side, possessing the aura of an immortal.
Noel barely flinched at this suicidal attack. The humanoid being burst into a pulp of blood that only covered a small part of Noel’s golden mane.
Noel was that large.
Although the suicidal attack barely did anything to him, it still alerted him to the presence of another creature in the vicinity.
Needless to say, Noel did not need to look around. He only knew of a few other entities that were ready to antagonize him the mont they saw the opportunity.
He already knew who it was.
"YOU TEST MY PATIENCE, CAT!"
Noel roared out, spreading a shockwave that distorted the surrounding space and caused the beings who were hiding to appear.
Thousands of humanoids with white cat ears and tails, all of them looked exactly the sa, as though they were clones.
There had to be at least ten thousand of these clones and all of them possessed the aura of an immortal.
All the Primordial Cats frowned at the sa ti. He had been hoping to pick Noel off little by little until he was worn down and Ibadon could land the final blow.
This wasn’t the first ti he attacked Noel secretly, but this was the first ti Noel retaliated.
Taking Noel down was going to co at a high cost.
But it didn’t matter, Noel wore a look of resolve on his face. He was the beginning and the end of this battle, that was how he saw himself.
He predicted how it would start and he knew how it must end.
"And so shall it be..." Noel muttered, waiting for Ibadon to get close.
