"Are you crazy?" Seth asked.

But Kael’s response to that question was a deep and scary scowl that caused Seth to feel pain from his still-healing nose.

It appeared that Kael did not take disrespect kindly.

"Think about it," Kael’s expression relaxed. He personally didn’t have ti to beat Seth into common sense, "You and I have been able to bypass the law manifestations that help Original Heaven.

That is the sa manifestation that is being used to lock down Myriad Heaven.

Getting in and getting out should be very easy for us. We don’t even need to go personally, we can go with clones.

If we don’t do this, we won’t be able to keep the Highest Will busy for as long as possible.

Instead, we would continuously be subject to his manipulation.

If you even want to have a one percent chance of making it to the Divine Tier, you need to do this.

Besides, Change is the one who has told all these things and I don’t feel like he is lying."

Kael said these words with utmost seriousness. Even though he was lying about his connection with Change, he wasn’t lying about the other parts.

The Highest Will will indeed just continue putting them against each other if they do not fight back and protect themselves from his manipulation.

But how could they fight back?

Up till now, Kael still ignored the call in his head because he knew that if he answered it, he would once again be subject to the designs of the Highest Will.

Unlike Reincarnation who seed to still have so connection to the Owls, having caused them to rebel harmlessly against Kael, the Highest Will didn’t seem to care about the Elephants.

Kael didn’t know why. It could be that the Highest Will was so detached from them that he no longer had any concrete reason to act as their safe guardian.

Besides, the elephants were known for breaking rules that they didn’t set themselves, it was possible the Highest Will also did not want to get involved with that side of them.

So, using the Elephants to threaten the Highest Will may not work.

They could not fight him, they could not threaten him.

But they could definitely confuse him. They could distract him.

Reincarnation had already ntioned that the Divine Tiers tended to seem rather confused about whatever they were doing at any ti.

The seeds of confusion were already there, Kael just had to water them.

’He wants to wipe out everyone? If I can’t live to be the All-King, everyone can forget about their own thing. I won’t allow it,’ Kael thought to himself.

Alas, even though Seth wanted to consider what Kael had to say, why would he? There were no clear incentives.

"The rat," Seth said, calr.

Kael sighed and nodded, "Yes Primordial Cat, you can have the Primordial Rat.

I’ll bring him along when we decide to actually work together," The All-King agreed quite easily.

"I don’t an his clone or anything. I want the original him," Seth added.

Kael nodded, "It will be done. But you must work with .

I am not asking you to share the secrets of what you are doing with the Outerverse, such secrets would co to light sooner or later.

I’m asking that you let help you by helping ,"

"And what do you get in return?" Seth blurted, "If I help or assist you in breaking into Myriad Heaven, you have already offered not to fight anymore and also given the Primordial Rat.

What about you? What do you get in return?"

To this, Kael’s eyes glead with a predatory light. Indeed, what could he possibly gain from asking Seth to join him on his sches?

Everything.

"We leave in one year. Hopefully the universe is calr than it is now," Kael did not answer Seth’s question and simply acted like he did not hear it.

He could have just lied, but that would have pushed Seth away instead of drawing him closer.

Kael wanted to make a contract with Seth but removed it from his mind. Because of the Law of Conquering, the nature of all his contracts would put him in the dominant position and Seth would detect this.

He would need sothing like the Law of Agreents to be able to make normal contracts.

"..." Seth did not say anything, but he guessed that he would have to go. Kael already knew that he was involved with activities at the Outerverse.

Seth did not care if most cosmic factions knew, but he definitely did not want his father to know.

His father also wanted what he wanted, Godhood. And they had plans for him to reach it.

Seth was going against his father’s plans, sothing that would warrant him being hunted down for the rest of his life if the latter found out.

"You will bring the Primordial Rat when you co?" Seth asked to be sure.

"Yes, and you can try your best to beco a Singularity when all is said and done. I want you to beco stronger, it’s in my best interests that you do," Kael admitted, mixing lies and truth.

"And how would you find ?"

"That’s not your concern," Kael said and turned away as a portal opened up behind him.

He could already feel that sothing was heading this way.

Seth could feel it too.

"How did you guys make Gabriel an Avatar of Slavery?" Kael suddenly asked right before he entered the portal.

Seth shook his head, "I’ll tell you once I get what I need,"

Kael’s expression relaxed, "What a pity," He lanted at how Seth tried to use his curiosity to grab whatever upper hand he could get.

Then, Kael dived into the portal.

Just like that, he ca and went and Seth was still alive with only a broken nose that was already healing up.

Standing alone in the barely lit dark void, Seth squeezed his fists and grunted. His black hair fell over and blocked his vision before being pushed away by an invisible force.

So many things were vexing him right now.

On the two occasions that he had actually t Kael, he was at a disadvantage.

Not once had he shown that he was incapable of fighting Seth.

It annoyed Seth also because he actually had a chance during their first encounter.

Surely, the All-King had co that ti to kill the Primordial Cheetah and he definitely did it, but Seth was still stronger.

The only reason he failed to continue the fight was that he had seen just how committed Kael was to getting what he wanted.

It had not mattered that Seth was a full level above him, or that he was against a fully equipped interstellar Feline Army, or that he was chasing after a speedster.

Kael still fought all of them and managed to kill the Primordial Cheetah in the process.

Not because he was stronger at that ti, but because Seth could not keep up with that level of determination.

Seth...felt small.

He felt like he lacked sothing and he didn’t know what that was.

All that he had discussed with Kael right now only made him look inwardly to himself and see just how much he was lacking compared to Kael.

He decided. He would work with Kael. Even though Kael may be lying, there was an atom of truth to his words.

The Highest Will, as ethereal and nonchalant as he may act, did everything for a reason.

He was not truly omnipotent, if he were, he wouldn’t need to plan and sche with his Rules.

If he were omniscient, he would already know what was going to happen before it did.

But as a Steward of the Universe, the Highest Will’s power was not small. Even Reincarnation had to be very careful with him.

The other gods respected him.

They envied him.

And they feared him.

Seth knew that the minds of the gods were hard to fathom and perhaps, wiping out the universe to start again was sothing that they would consider.

As for freeing Change.

That was a very big thing to do.

There were no rules against helping a fallen god escape his prison.

So, were they breaking any rules?

Who knows.

Seth looked at a particular part of the void where he saw a fleet of arkships that had been rushing to this place.

He frowned, his mind filled with suspicion. That fleet belonged to the Ant Order. They had been rushing to this place when Kael was here.

But now, they had suddenly stopped after Kael was gone.

"Hmmm," Seth was starting to believe what Kael said about the gods playing with them.

The Ant Order should be coming here to investigate, they cannot say that they did not see Seth, they did.

But they were now acting like he wasn’t there.

As though they wanted him to continue doing what he was doing.

And so, it dawned on Seth that he may be wrong.

Without warning, a feeling of dread began to well up inside Seth.

The feeling of being so insignificant in the grand sche of things, the feeling of being disillusioned.

Seth brought the transmission device in his hand up and looked at it. It was still blinking.

Finally, a look of resolve appeared in his glowing white eyes.

"One year..." He muttered. Then, his body turned into a bright beam of light as he blasted off to where he was going before Kael showed up.
